Ch. 32 Falling... For you

That is until Isaac woke up...

He woke up and flailed his limbs in every possible direction until Cole and Spencer lost their grip. Spencer glared at Cole for letting go, and dived after Isaac.

Isaac's eyes were closed as he fell.

He heard the wind whistle in his ears as he fell quickly through the air.

The chill of the night seeped into his bones like hands trying to catch him and slipping through his body like phantoms.

He held his breath anticipating the SPLAT he would definitely make when he hit the hard cruel earth.

The feeling of falling felt endless.

Like all he could do was

FALL

FALL

FALL

and FALL some more

but still be FALLing

As more time passed, he suddenly realized the whistling in his ears was gone. Afraid, Isaac opened his eyes to see Spencer looking at him concerned. Isaac gasped and he felt air rush into his lungs once more. Isaac looked around to find he was in Spencer's arms. He sighed his body uncoiling.

He wasn't dead. Isaac thought to himself. So he wasn't dead... but why did he not feel relieved?

Unlike movies he didn't feel as if his life flashed before his eyes. All he felt was the cold night air and the feeling of falling and... overwhelming fear. But fear of what? As Isaac stared deep into Spencer's eyes he knew. He was afraid of... not seeing someone tomorrow. Isaac desperately fought with his thoughts as Spencer and Cole took him home by drifting through the clouds.

Who that some one was Isaac didn't know, but he knew he would gladly fall like that after meeting them.
