"It can't be..." Said the king.
"What's wrong, father?" Asked Lewis when he suddenly felt weird about his father's sudden attitude.
"Your highness?" Sebastian also felt the same.
The king approached Alia quickly and held her clothes.
"Father! What are you doing?" Shouted Lewis.
"She has it on the back of her left shoulder." Said the king.
Alia looks scared. She afraid that the king may did something to her.
The king slowly ripping her clothes.
"Father! Stop!" Shouted Lewis again when he saw his father attitude.
But everything went to silent for some time. Every gasped when it happened.
"I knew it..." Said the king.
"No, it can't be..." Said Lewis who's in the most shock.
"Is she the..." Said Sebastian.
"Yes, she's the lost princess."
"Princess?" Said Alia in confusion. "You mean this wing shaped birthmark?"
"Yes! The birthmark! How did you have it!" Lewis accidentally raised his voice.
"I think all of you may misunderstood something." Said Alia. "I had it since I was born. I couldn't be a princess."
"Did your parents ever tell anything about you before you were born?" The king tried to unveil the mysteries that cover his daughter's death.
"My parents used to tell me that I'm dead for 4 hours before my heart beats again."
Everyone surprised to hear that.
"At least that's what the friend that told my parent to take care of me. I don't have the prove to give to you."
"That mark alone is the prove." Said Sebastian. "That's the mark that makes you a Bryna descendents."
Alia couldn't believed What he just said.
No way...
She took a few steps backwards. She looked around at everyone's face.
That means... Lewis and I couldn't...
"That means... Alia and I couldn't get married?" Asked the prince to the king.
"That's right." The king answered straightforwardly. He felt guilty at the time, but what he could possibly do? Lying? Making things worse? He hold his thought to himself and spoke the words that even he didn't wanted to hear.
"No way... No way that's true!" Lewis raised his voice to the king. "But... I love her... I'm planning to get married to her... Don't you understand my feelings? Don't you want me happy?"
"Of course I want to!" Said the king. "But think about what's gonna happen to your family. What's people gonna think about you marrying your own sister?"
"But we could have stay quiet, couldn't we? We shut our mouth and let nobody found out about her. Let it be a secret for her lifetime."
"But what if they found out about it? What are you gonna do?"
The king completely shut Lewis's mouth. He couldn't answered to his father's question.
"No answer huh?"
Lewis clenched his fist. He couldn't find the answer. He never felt so frustrated before. "Damn it!" He let out his anger. But that doesn't change the fact that Alia is his sister.
"Is there anything we could do about it?" Alia tried to find the solution.
"Nothing at all." Replied The king.
She failed to find it. She felt hopeless about her current situation.
"It's decided!" The king rose up from his seat. He looks very serious. "Both of you should forget about each other and live your life as family! That's all!"
"No way..." Lewis felt really hopeless. He felt powerless. He couldn't even protected the one he loves dearly. Just one fact separates them apart.
All of them returned to their own room and duty.
Right after they left, The king sit down on his royal seat.
Is it really the right thing to do? He thought.
I never saw him so sad in my life, even back then when he was forced to do all the education. Should I have kept quiet about it? But that's not gonna change the fact that she's a Bryna descendents.
"I hope Lewis didn't do anything stupid." He thought.
