Chapter 96: Charlene, Christine, and Charmine

Back at Chiko's room, Charlene was telling Chiko about what happened after he passed out. She decided to hide some details about how she came and stopped Doroteo's attempt. She made sure to highlight how Mark was about to cause trouble by punching Doroteo and how Ferdy was about to bite his hands for unknown reasons.

"At the end of that day, the charges were dropped by the police chief himself, claiming that sports injuries are just common events and that we were just overreacting after losing to the Salazarians. That pufferfish-looking policeman was obviously paid in cash by those Doroteo bastards." Charlene grumbled her disappointment at the events.

Despite the obvious bad intentions of the Doroteos, the visiting team had an edge to prove considering that all the officials and referees were consistent in their claim that Chiko's injuries were self-harmed.
