I think Chen Sheng Lin is a difficult person. Or I cannot read him. I still don't understand why he says something to me as if he can read my mind.

"Are you able to read my mind?" I asked him.

"Is that important for you?" He asked me and made me confused because I am not sure if it will be an important issue for me or not. His gaze fixed on me and makes me so nervous as my heart beats faster.

"I don't know."

Chen Sheng Lin came closer until his lips almost touched my left ear.

"Then I'll tell you. Bai He Lian, if you want, you can read my mind as well." He whispered and made me shocked because I had never thought about that before since I was just an ordinary woman. "Do you dare to read my mind?" He whispered again and this time I pushed his shoulder gently and made him move backward.

"I cannot read your mind and I don't want to."

"Why?"

"Because you have the right to think anything as you like." I answered him.

"Bai He Lian, I never think that you will give me this answer." He said as he gave me his smile.

I don't understand what's the meaning of the smile that curved on his lips but I can feel something is not going right or…it's just my feeling? Why was I supposed to think about his feelings? Even he is breathing but it doesn't mean he is an ordinary human? His silver hair is sparkling. What kind of human has that kind of hair? Even someone can color their hair but still seems impossible to sparkle like that.

"Bai He Lian, you can come back to your home after we have finished the dinner and I will accompany you."

"What?! Can I come back home?" He nodded. "Are you serious?" I asked him again to confirm that everything that I hear is not just a dream.

"Uhm. Even though I want you to be here but I don't want to force you." He said.

"Am I dreaming?"

"No."

"Okay. Thank you so much. I will never forget you."

"Bai He Lian don't say it because you have forgotten me once."

'Eh? I just met Cheng Sheng Lin today. How can I forget about him already?'

"But you don't need to worry because I made you forget me."

'Eh? Why is his words so weird?'

I am still thinking about his words but on the other side I am eating until I finish the food. I just want to go back home and back to my ordinary life. Is he really letting me go this time?

"Bai He Lian, I cannot let you go." He said and made me shocked because he gives me the answer like what I am questioning about.

"Why?"

"What can I say to you right now? It's all because we trapped together in this oath so I think you have to accept this truth. This time, I will make sure that you cannot cheat fate anymore.

"Chen Sheng Lin, What do you mean? I am so confused when you talk."

"Soon or later, you will know and don't need to rush."

"Chen Sheng Lin, can you just tell me what happened? You make me more confused."

Chen Sheng Lin stared at me. His gaze is so gentle and delivers warmth all over my body. His right palm caressed my jaw. This time, I feel his palm is so warm. I stare at him and our eyes meet.

"I will accompany you." He said and after that I feel so drowsy then I know nothing. My body feels so thin as I feel so comfortable.

Someone called me.

"Bai He Lian…wake up…"

I open my eyes and see no one here. I look around and find myself in my room. I take a time to process all the information and I find that last time I met Chen Sheng Lin but now…where is he? Is he just in my dream or he is real?

I wear my own pajamas. Is Chen Sheng Lin changing my clothes? I don't feel he touched me last night.

"Bai He Lian, have you woken up already?" Luo Fei Yang came into my room while bringing a cup of coffee in his grip.

"Uhm. What happened?" I asked her.

Luo Fei Yang looks at me. Her gaze is like she is curious.

"Don't you remember?" She asked me again.

"Remember about what?"

"A man brought you here last night. His appearance looks like Hong Yan Jing but they are different."

"He is Chen Sheng Lin." I said.

"Wahhhhhh!" Luo Fei Yang screamed. She looked so happy. I don't understand why but I can tell it because her eyes sparkle. "How come you always meet hot guys?"

"Eh?" I was shocked when she said that but later I just laughed.

"Bai He Lian, I think in your past life, you must be a hero that's why you are always lucky and a lot of man is interested in you."

"Don't you remember that I cannot touch him?"

"Do you know?! He brought you in his arms last night!" Luo Fei Yang looks so happy. "Bai He Lian, I think he will not die even if you touch him."

"Uhm…That's true."

"What?! Bai He Lian told me about that!"

"Fei Yang…" I stared at her. "What's happened to you? Why do I feel you look so happy this morning but a few days ago I saw your face looked so gloomy."

"Uhm…I am happy because there is a man who can touch you so you will not be alone if someday I am not here."

"Luo Fei Yang, are you okay?" I asked her.

"I am okay. Why?"

"Forget it! If you need something for me, you can talk to me anytime." I said as I raised up from my bed and went to the bathroom.

I hear the bell is ringing but since I am still in the bathroom, I cannot open the door so I think Luo Fei Yang must open the door already. I take a bath and prepare to work as usual. I wear my clothes and put my make-up on. When I get out of my bedroom I am so startled when I see Hong Yan Jing sitting on the sofa in the living room.

"Hong Yan Jing, what are you doing here?!" I cannot hide what I feel right now.

"Oh…I am here to pick you up."

"I can go to work by myself."

"I know but I insist because I have a message for you from…." He stopped and made Luo Fei Yang look at him and take her bag and put it on her shoulder.

"Bai He Lian, I have to go. See you at the cafe."

"Why are we not going together?"

"I think Hong Yan Jing wants to talk with you and I have to go now because I have an appointment." Luo Fei Yang said, as she walked out from this room hurriedly even I can say nothing.

Luo Fei Yang left me with Hong Yan Jing in this place. Hong Yan Jing raised up from the sofa then approached me.

"Bai He Lian, today you are so beautiful." He looked at me from hair to toe. "I am so surprised to know that you can come back here."

"Hong Yan Jing, who are you?" I asked him bravely. At least I can die peacefully after I know.

"Bai He Lian, don't worry because Young Master will never let you die easily."

"How can you read my mind?"

"Oh…Bai He Lian, why do you have so many questions in your head?" Hong Yan Jing smiled.

"So do you want to give me the answers?" I asked him back.

Hong Yan Jing drew his face closer to mine until his breath touched my cheek. His lips bite my left ear and make me shocked but I can do nothing as he whispers.

"I cannot tell you because I don't know the answer. Even though I know, I never let you know the answer."

"If that is so…why do you have to come and disturb me?"

"Oh…Yeah. I almost forgot. Young Master said you have to visit him at six o'clock."

"Why?! Didn't he just let me go last night so why do I have to meet him again?"

Oh…God, why do I have to meet them? All this time, I never had enemies or made a big sin but why do they always want to meet me?

"Bai He Lian, I think this time you have to redeem your sin." He said as he tapped my shoulder lightly. "At six we will go together to meet the Young Master."

"Hey! I don't want to meet him!"

"Or… Do you prefer the Young Master to come to you by himself?"

"What?! I said…Chen Shen Lin will never do that!"
