The Glimpse of the Past (Part 1)

Princess Aria was looking at a vast grassy land with friendly animals running around. A breath-taking view of sunrise with the valleys and mountains were seen from her place.

A woman, wearing a red antique style dress, was walking along the grassy lands while enjoying the view. To her right was a man wearing a golden antique style robe with black-blue long hair flowing with the wind. The two were immersed in their own world enjoying their precious time; playing with the animals and holding hands while walking.

"Who are you?" Princess Aria asked. There was no response from the couple as if they did not hear her say anything. "Uhmm. Sir, Madam what is this place?" She asked another question. Still, there was no response. Aria who was inquiring a while ago decided to just shut up and observe silently from a distance.

The man knelt on the ground and put an emerald ring to the woman's finger. It was a simple water-drop style ring but the woman was grinning from ear-to-ear as she looked at her hand adorned with the ring then to the man's perfect chiseled face. The man had green eyes. It was a perfect match with the ring.

"Please wear this ring as a sign of my loyalty and eternal love." he firmly promised.

"My Emperor." The woman felt so happy while tryibg to hold her tears, she held the man tighter in their loving embrace.

"My Empress. Do not leave me ever again. No matter who tries to come in between us, please believe in me." The man pleaded as if his entire life depended on it.

"And I will to you. I will forever love you. I will only love one man, in this lifetime or after."

They hugged tightly and sealed their promise with a long kiss.

In the next scene, Princess Aria was witnessing the most tragic event in her entire life.

The woman was pleading, begging, and more pleading on her bended knees. Asking for mercy. She doesn't mind the pain she was suffering from the rubbing of her knees on the ground. All she needed was the man in front to believe in her.

This was their promise!

She was pleading for the entire 5 days straight without food and just water in front of the Emperor's palace, but he did not budge nor stop her.

He was furious!

He was angry!

He could not accept all that happened.

Princess Aria could not take it anymore. She tried to cover her eyes and runaway, but she suddenly felt that she needed to see this scene and embed it in her memories.
