Failed Plan

YuKames pov

At the mention of that name, I felt a chill go all the way down my spine a feeling in which I rarely get and when I get I hate it a lot. I guess my team saw the fear in my face and asked if I was alright, I thought to myself for a second thinking "is this a good idea?" or "will I be able to talk normally if I come across him?" I'm sure Altair heard what I was thinking but even he couldn't help me with this I'm sure he can sense the fear and guilt on my conscience. I thought that no one could help me until Shari walked up to me with a look of extreme worry plastered 9n her face Raven who was right behind her showed a look of no emotion. "Honestly why are you here I mean you're not helping whatsoever," I said with a very annoyed tone. "I'm not here to comfort you I'm here for Shari," Raven said. The rest of the trip was filled in uncomfortable silence.

Time Skip

YuKames pov

After that awkward ride to Cecil, we got our target for the bounty and who we got hit me in the face like a truck. It was Sanji Kyukendahl "dammit" I muttered and Shane walked up to me and asked "you alright there man? you look like you saw someone you know" I tensed up and I guess he saw that gave a little nod while saying " it will be fine dude I know that you might know him but we need our teammate." I nodded and said, "alright where do we start searching first."

Shari's Pov

"So Gordon called me and said we will have the same bounty as YuKame's team, so you all might know I'm pretty excited right now," I said with a gigantic grin on my face. Ron who was doing pushups in a corner then said " what do you see in that guy? he looks pretty weak to me I mean you are the only person to feel anything for that guy, Em, and Rave feels pretty much nothing for the guy." To be honest, I was a few seconds away from kicking Ron until I glanced at Em who probably saw my face red with anger, she then walked to Ron as she then shouted "RAVEN!!!" I then saw as Raven walked and looked at me before nodding her head and paralyzing Ron, he then shouted "What the Hell is going on I can't move" "exactly you are to weak to break the paralyzation, but guess who can?" 'Noooooo how can that weakling do it?" I stifle in a laugh then look at Raven who is just staring at Ron. 'Just as emotionless as always huh' after that thought I smiled and said: " come on I'm sure the other team is waiting for us." They all nodded and started to grab their things.

H.M. Gordon's Pov

I was looking over the bounties I gave the students when I was interrupted by the headmistress Ms. Casey (A/N to lazy to think of a better name for her) asking "why did you pair those two groups together, you've never done that before." "I could easily ask myself the same question, Ms. Casey," I said as I started putting up the papers, "but let me tell you one thing YuKame is a special kid fending off a Kuroba with a stick is a hard task to accomplish nonetheless with only a stick and people to protect." "Raven is also pretty strong but, she is an odd one only willing to do something rash only if Shari or Em suggests it. Shari is a girl with a lot of talent and promise, she is great with an arsenal of weapons but she sticks to a basic sword. Em, on the other hand, isn't as strong as Shari or Raven but has promise in an aspect different than that of Shari, She is an excellent markswoman and has some fair skills in hand to hand combat. Then there's Ron who is your standard brawler type." Wow, I just said a lot of stuff and I'm sure Caseys' head is hurting but I was wrong she was looking through some files mainly YuKame's I was thinking about why she is reading his files when she asked: "Where are the records of YuKame's parents?"

YuKames pov

"Wait so you're saying that Gordon wants us to hunt the same bounty?" Shari just nods her head and smiles I can't help but look at Raven who is just standing there it was pretty awkward. We were on our way to an abandoned building that we discovered when researching this guy and all his attacks, what we found out is that all his attacks are circling this one building its like he was trying to give away his hideout but the police in this area never cared about actually doing their job correctly in the first place, they probably think we won't be able to catch him. We got to our stop and decided to scope the place out, and well it's empty a little too empty if you ask me. I thought for a second then a plan came to me, "hey I got an idea Kai you can mask peoples presence right?" He nodded and said, "but there are too many people I can't mask all of us." "That's okay I only need you to mask mine and Ravens." "WHAT!!!!" everyone other than me Raven and Kai shouted.  Karrie of all people thought about something she then nodded and said "I agr- agree with him. If we're being logical then we might want to trust them well trust him I don't know about her tho." "Just hear the rest of the plan," Raven said, wait a minute RAVEN SAID of all people I didn't expect her to side with me let alone speak a single word while surrounded by people. "If what I'm thinking is correct we should have the same or similar plan." "You sound like a robot giving percentages," Shane says causing all of us to laugh except Raven who jas no sense of humor at all. After discussing the plan with the team's Raven and I got inside the building and started touching stuff like we are trying to find a secret compartment may be, that's because we were. "Crap I just realized we have no way to communicate with Shari and the others" At that moment we heard a scream which Rave described as Em's but before we could exit we were stopped by an impulse blast and I'm pretty sure who did it.
