Chapter 24:Farming

Looking back at the witches gardening, I thought about putting plants that produce food so that I wouldn't have to make it anymore for the Goblins.

Telling the witches of my idea of growing food, the witches asked me if they could grow herbs as well. Since I wanted them to do the farming for now, I The witches that we should grow herbs that can be used as an ingredient for food and witchcraft.

After also asking Eva for advice we were going to plant ruby strawberries, golden apples, glistening watermelon, water artichoke, miracle wheat, and spirit watered rice. To make it easier for the witches, I made golems made of terrasteel to help with the farming. The reason the golems were made of terrasteel was because they slightly increased the growth rate of the crops. Although Eva told me that Gaia spirit ingots would have been better, but because they were technically alive I couldn't make them with creation magic.

Since we were on the topic of starting a farm, I fenced an area of the lake to start a rainbow scale fish and red rock crayfish farms. Although the golems farming at the lake were also made of terrasteel, It didn't help the growth of the fishes or crayfishes at all. The only think that could increase animals growth rate were the food that I feed them, Gaia spirit ingots, elves, and sea or nature spirits.

As a way to collect and breed the fish and crayfish, I made the slimes gather the fishes and crayfishes once they mature and payed eggs while also eating the smaller ones so that only the larger fishes and crayfishes breed.

Although I wanted to add more farm animals, I needed someone to build a barn strong enough to contain monster animals since unlike sea animals, there wasn't something holding them back from roaming around the land.

Eva:Ding! User has leveled up to level 2.

Eva:Ding! User has leveled up to level 3.

Shomei:"Hu? Why did I level up?"

Eva:The Goblins are hunting with the knights. Since the ones that are level 25 can't level up anymore without choosing a class or evolution, all of their Xp goes to you.

Shomei:"... I don't really need it though, can I give it to the other Goblins who haven't reach level 25 yet?"

Eva:Yes, the User can make an Experience Stone to store and transfer your Xp. Just remember that once someone chooses a class or evolution, they can't give Xp that'll push them below the class up level"

Shomei:"Ok, I'll also make some for the Goblins so that they can give Xp to the other Goblins instead of me"

...

On top of the roof of the inn with Nekkō, I watch as 100 golems plow, seed, and water a field. I kinda felt high and mighty watching over them from above. The golems were also putting together the sprinkling system and mixing up the ingredients used in my fertilizer.

Since I didn't want giant tanks sitting out in the open, I used earth magic made a basement to house all the giant tanks of sacred water that were suppling the sprinkling system. Since it was going to be underground anyway, I added a lot more tanks to last a couple weeks before going out of water without me refilling it.

To power the pumps used to pipe the water out of the tanks, I literally broke a wire and stuck a lightning element mana stone into it before repairing it with duct tape. Although I don't know how long the lightning element mana stone will last, I think it'll last awhile consider the grade is perfect and it has lightning in the name. While I was doing this, I could hear Eva murmuring something but couldn't make out what she was saying. When I ask, she said that it was nothing important...

Looking above the new farm from the inn, I thought that the crops that were going to be made would probably satisfy a lot of people back on earth since it's all natural grown and didn't have any chemicals in it. Plus I don't need to use pesticide since the sacred water and dragon fertilizer kills and help plants fight off germs and bacteria on their own.

Shomei:"I wonder if their avocados in this worlds?"

Eva:... No

Shomei:"To bad, this would have been perfect for millennials if there were. Although I could make ones from earth..."

Eva:There's no millennials here, so you don't have to do that unless you want guacamole.

Shomei:"I guess your right, I'll make some whenever I want guacamole. Plus I can make the, anytime without worrying about what rank they are"

Author Notes:Put any item, plant, animal, etc and with their name and reason, I'll try to add them into the next chapters. If you can make a valid reason to put Pepe the frog as a farm animal, I'll do it.
