Marriage

When inside the car,Sandriya kept staring at Jonathan who was sitting in the front seat.Jonathan could feel the stares that he was receiveing from the person in the back seat.

"Do i look so handsome that you can't take your eyes off of me?"He questioned slightly turning to face her.

"Yeah in your dreams.I was just wondering how you bought this dress.It looks expensive."

Before he could answer,Sandriya interupted

"Also this car.Whose is this?Why are spending a lot like this.?We could have just went to some simple hotel and enjoyed a good meal.Its not to late.We can change our plans even now."she went on questioning.

"Are you done talking?Can you hear me now?"Jonathan sighed.

"This car is my friends'.He was totally cool with me using it.So don't worry about it.As for the dress,My friends mother is a designer.Earlier when i went to get my suit altered i saw this blue gown and thought it will look good on you.So I bought it for you and it is not as expensive as it looks"he reasoned.

"Oh...okay then.I was just worried that you spent all your money in this"she said

Not expensive?Hearing this ,Steve who was driving the car, subconsciously stamped on the breaks.Realising what he just did,he turned to Jonathan

"I am sorry master"he apologised.

But for some reason Jonathan was glarring daggers at him.

He turned to the back seat.Sandriya was starring at the two men.

"I mean SIR.I am sorry sir"he corrected.

He then faced the road and started driving again.The atmosphere slowly calmed down a bit.

"What is wrong with young master?First he wanted to shift to this school for no reason.Then he said he doesn' t want anyone to know his identity.It might be because he wanted to make true friends.That is totally understandable.But now that he has good friends why does he keep on lying.He even went over board with J.K.He could have just let me handle it.But what did he do?He came to the spot risking his life to get revenge.I could even tolerate everything he has done so far.But today he just lied that he bought that dress from some friends' mother of his.He even said its not expensive.How come a number with six zeros not expensive?He even wanted both their dresses to be a perfect match.On top of everything,he even designed the pearl embroidery himself.What is with him?But he says she is just a friend.Why does he want to wear a limited edition couple dress with a so called 'just a friend' "Steve's mind was in mess thinking about what his master was upto.

"Don't think too much.Its not good for your mind"a voice interupted his thought process.He turned his head slightly to Jonathan.He was sitting cool and comfortable.His face was so calm.But his eyes were starring sharply into his.Was it that obvious to tell what he was thinking?Steve gulped nervously.

"Driver.We forgot to pick up my friends.Please turn around"Sandriya suddenly reminded.

"They are already waiting for us there."Jonathan answered turning around to face her.This time his eyes were calm and caring.

"Omg.He should definitely become an actor some day."Steve thought.

"Steve.What do you think of me becoming an actor in the future"Jonathan suddenly questioned.

Steve broke out into cold sweat.

"That will be wonderful sir"he answered hiding his panic.Did he have some sort of power to read peoples' mind.From now on if he was to ponder about something,he was going to do it alone and definitely not infront of his master.

Sandriya looked confused wondering what the two men were talking about.

"Didn't you tell them to wait at your house?"She asked.

"Yeah I did.But then I thought how jealous they will be to see us walking hand in hand into the hotel"he said with his usual mischievious smile.

"Yeah. like that will ever happen"she answered.But for some reason deep in her heart she wanted to walk holding his hand.And as the image of them walking together,her heart started pounding and her lips were smiling without her concern.

Then for the entire 20 minute ride to the hotel,No one said a word.

"Sir and Miss we are here"Steve informed.

Hearing that Sandriya looked out of the car window.The sight before her eyes baffled her.They were standing infront of one of the top luxury hotels in the country.

"Idiot.Is this some kind of joke?Why are we here?Its not a place we can afford to eat" Sandriya started to panic.

"How did you get the money?Don't tell me you robbed a bank or stole something to pay the money"

Hearing her words,Jonathan couldn't help but laugh.Why was he going to steal when his family owns the hotel.

Through the glass door,she could see two girls who looked like Cathy and Elena sitting on a sofa in the waiting area.From the looks on their faces,it was clear they were nervous just like her.

Suddenly she could feel someones arm wrap around her shoulders.She was stunned.

"Shall we go?" Jonathan's gentle voice inquired.

Seeing his calm face,her panic started to fade.At the same time being in his arms made her get flustered.But she didn't complain.

The two then went inside the lavish restaurant and to the waiting area where Cathy and Elena were waiting for them.The two girls were relieved to see Jonathan and Sandriya.

"Sorry to have made you wait so long"Jonathan apologised.

"Thats alright"Cathy said.

"Why are you two dressed like a couple.?Don't tell me this is a treat for announcing your marriage"Elena asked curiously.

Thats when Sandriya realised they were indeed dressed in the same colour and even the designs in their dresses matched.That can't be a coincidence right?

"Marriage?First we have to confess our love then we have to go on dates.There are a lot of procedures you see"Jonathan said charmingly.

"So,what you are trying to say is, you love her.right?"Cathy asked trying to process what he said.

"Yep"he answered without a moments thought.

But what confused the two girls the most was Sandriya simply stood there not giving a response.But her face was red like a tomato.

Looking at their confused faces "I was just joking.I just wanted to see these crazy faces of yours"he answered laughing at them as he took his arm from Sandriya's shoulders.

"Lets go in"he said walking ahead.

She should have been happy with what he said.He was just her friend.But she was not. The warmth she felt in her heart was now gone.She felt a stabbing pain in her heart.

"You coming girl"Cathy called out.Only then did she realise she was still in the waiting area.

"Yeah.Coming"She said is a low tone as she walked into the grand dinning hall...
