Kill Me *Julius*

When my sister and I got home, I began to prepare for the weekend. Winter weekends are super harsh, so I fought with my sister to get as many blankets and pillows. Then, our mother walked in the living room and saw us wrestling over a blanket.

"What are you doing?" she said with her hands on her hips.

"Preparing for the weekend." we said in unison.

Then, my sister grabbed the blanket, ran up the stairs, went into her room, and slammed the door.

"Darnit." I said as I grabbed the pillows I had gathered.

"Not even a 'hello'?" mom asked.

"Hello." I said as I hugged her. "How's Mr. Fielding?"

"He's good."

"Can we see him again soon?" Jaclyn asked as she ran down the stairs. "He makes the best hot cocoa."

"I'll ask if you can see him on Sunday." mom chuckled. "You both know how much he hates phones."

"Why not Saturday?" I asked.

"Jackie's going to the doctor and you'll be with your uncle."

"Is it the eye doctor?" my sister whined.

"Yes."

Then, Jaclyn began to take out her contacts.

"Can I finally get glasses?"

"Fine. But if they break, you're not getting-"

"Not getting new ones. I know, mum." Jaclyn said as she went up the stairs.

"Where are you going?" I asked as I stood on the base stair.

"Gotta do something."

"End me." I said as I tossed myself over the couch.

"No, I love you too much." mom said as she walked over to me and kissed my forehead.
