Catching Up

Catching up to an active novel or anime series can be seen as an accomplishment. But at the same time it is one that can hardly be desired. Catching up means there won't be any more binge sessions. Catching up means you'll have to search for a new book. Catching up more often than not means soon to be dropped. An average series might be dropped faster but a good one will become annoying. Each chapter is usually designed to be a cliff hanger in and of itself. Thus you'll constantly be waiting and the enjoyment will never reach the level obtained from binge reading.

However I have to admit, you do gain quite a bit of free time after catching up on all your novels.
