Gender Pay Gap?

I could list laws (for example the Equal Pay Act of 1963) and other things to prove that gender pay inequality doesn't exist (at least on paper), but a better way would be to portray the situation from a logical point of view.

Just think of it this way, if a company was able to pay a woman less to do the same amount of work a man did, why wouldn't they just only hire women. A company doesn't give a damm what gender you are as long you're providing results and generating them income. (Of course there are always exceptions)

I will confirm the gender pay gap does indeed exist, however it has often been taken out of context.

To further clarify, the gender pay gap numbers that can be found online, generally ignore countless factors such as education, hours worked, type of job, career breaks, and part-time work.

In essence, a smaller gender pay gap wouldn't necessarily equate to more gender equality.

These kinds of myths don't really help empower women, contrarily it actually turns them into victims.

(This is a heavily debated topic that definitely can't be completely summarized within just a short chapter)
