Dawn Chorus

For the past few days, I've been able to experience the dawn chorus. The dawn chorus is the phenomenon of birds singing before sunrise.

It is generally believed that male birds sing in the morning in order mark their territory, show dominance, and attract mates.

Although it does sound nice, I've enjoyed it enough and have decided to rearrange my sleeping schedule.
