The future is definitely not all positive. Everything has it's pros and cons. After a certain point, reanimation becomes possible, which introduces a whole slew of problems.

Solving murder cases should theoretically become very easy, as long as the victim can be found. This has lead to two major issues.

Now, the corpses are almost always desecrated in extreme ways to ensure that reanimation is impossible or incredibly undesirable.

There also exists a group that voluntarily gets killed to pin a fake crime on targets. Basically abusing the idea of, why should the murder victim lie about their killer's identity. In the end, it's all about money.
