According to some random article on the internet, "One 1987 study in the Journal Of The American Veterinary Medical Association looked at 132 cats that had fallen an average of 5.5 storeys and survived." 


We reproduced the test with homosapiens, grabbing 132 of each age group. The survival rate increased drastically, from close to 0%, starting with the 8 year olds. This number neared 70% at the age group of 26 year olds and this is where it stayed until the mid 50s where it started to decline again. 


This study has undeniably proven that cats are the superior species and we should support their takeover of planet earth. This opinion might be influenced by the fact that cats are much cuter than humans.
