Fish

Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. Teaching however takes too much time and isn't worth the effort. Give a man a poisoned fish, you'll feed him for a lifetime without the hassle of having to teach him.

This can also be drastically upscaled and be implemented to solve world hunger. It also works great when it comes to decreasing homeless rates.
