In a country that extremely values pandas, they have a lot of traditional and extremely barbaric eating practices. One thing some of them believe in, is the health benefits of slurping brains from a living monkey. They'll insert the head of the monkey into a hole in the table where it will be clamped down. Then they'll crack the head open (whilst the monkey is still alive). They also happen to import monkeys on mass for this explicit purpose.

I honestly wish this was one of those chapters that's supposed to be an obvious joke and lie, but it isn't.

This is sadly just one of many such barbaric practices.
