Lin Mei's Story part 1

And so, after all their conversation, she started thinking for a bit before starting to narrate all the happened to her from the beginning while sitting down under a tree nearby. Tian Che too followed her and sat right next to her. When he did, she felt a bit awkward but still started telling him about everything which about a month ago.

One month ago -

This all started a month ago when she won the Dragon Phoenix Tournament of the Jade Moon Empire. And due to her amazing performance, she was given a chance to take the trial of 1 of the 4 legendary Sovereign Inheritances of the peak experts of the ancient times.

They were the Flaming Sun Sovereign Inheritance, the Aquatic Jade Sovereign Inheritance, the Wind Lightning Sovereign Inheritance, and the Earth-Shattering Sovereign Inheritance.

And out of the 4 Inheritances, she chose the Aquatic Jade Sovereign Inheritance as she felt that the Aquatic Jade Sovereign Inheritance was the one that suited her best because the highest infinity she had with an element was the element of water.

The one who rewarded her with a chance was the emperor of the Jade Moon Empire. Other than receiving the chance to go through the trial, she also received a Mythical Rank Sky Grade spear known as the Snow Saint Spear for showing the most terrifying Potential and heaven-defying Talent. After which she was given a chance to rest for one day and could go to the trial grounds the next day.

After she won the competition, the first person who came to congratulate her was her brother, mother, father the patriarch and her first uncle. But after congratulating her, they saw how tired she looked so they let her go rest. The place they stayed at was the clan's main hall, which was located in the imperial city's northern area.

The Next Day -

After resting for a few hours, she came out of the room and was greeted warmly by her family. They then soon had their breakfast and went back to the place where the tournament was held the day before. When they reached the tournament ground, the emperor and his subjects were already there, who were there to see what will happen.

She and her family then greeted them all while the emperor was praising her for her great feats from the tournament. After the greetings were done, they then headed towards the trial ground of the Aqua Jade Sovereign Inheritance which was located right outside of the Imperial City's western region.

After a few moments, when they reached it, they saw that the inheritance was guarded by 2 peak emperor stage Ice dragons which made everyone other the emperor and his subject, who tagged along to watch the trial shocked while realizing how heavily guarded the trial ground was.

Then the emperor told her to proceed to the trial ground and warned her to be cautious while staying alert all the time. She then nodded seriously and went inside the trial Ground of One of the 4 Great Sovereign Inheritances.

Inside the Inheritance Trial Ground -

The Moment Lin Mei entered the trial ground, she heard a cold feminine voice speaking…..

"Welcome Challenger, to the Trial ground of the Aqua Jade Inheritance. The trial consists of 3 phases. The Combat test, the Comprehension test and The test of Will."(Spirit of the Sovereign)

After hearing the cold voice, she was stunned but soon recovered afterward as the cold feminine voice continued….

"Your first set test will begin in 5 minutes, get ready."(Spirit of the Sovereign)

As soon as the voice stopped speaking, a loud roar was heard.

ROOAAARRRR!!!!!

After which, a Demonic beast materialized and stared at her. It was a python which looked really large, which had a glass-like hide and long fangs coming out its mouth with crystal-like eyes. Soon, 5 mins passed, as she heard the cold feminine voice speaking...

"The Trial starts now, this is the Ice Jade Python. You have to kill it in order to pass. But remember that this beast's cultivation has been set as about 4 small realms higher than you. As your cultivation is of Peak Martial Ruler realm, It's cultivation Realm is of Martial King level 4 and be aware that if you lose, you will die ."(Spirit of the Sovereign)

As soon as she heard this, she became a little nervous but soon saw that the beast was about to act. So gritted her teeth while tightening her grip on her spear. She raised her spear and yelled 'DANCE OF SNOW' and started to attack the Ice Jade python.

She attacked the python with her strongest move 'Dance Of Snow' which increased her agility and attack power by 8 percent. She, in the blink of an eye, reached above its head and attacked it as hard as possible. But the python dodged it with its agility by sliding to the right and swung it's tail to attack.

It attacked her with its tail on her back which made her fly 5 meters away and slam into the wall as she coughed out a mouthful of blood but due to her wearing a Legend Rank Earth Grade armor, she wasn't badly injured and only had light wounds as the armor saved her.

She was shocked as to how easily it dodged her attack and remembered that it was a stage 4 king level beast. She was really thankful to her younger brother who gave her the this King Rank Earth grade armor which had a defense equal to a level 3 Martial King.

She then slowly stood up and wiped the blood off from the corner of her mouth and remembered that although her attack was really powerful, she didn't attack the way she should in order to land a hit on it. She should focus on battling and killing it while not making any reckless move. And then, with determination, she then slowly made a battle stance while getting ready to use another strong move of hers.
