Chapter 6

Adrian and I walked into the kitchen where it smelled most like booze. Around the kitchen you could see shots of vodka, wine, beer, and whiskey. And in the middle of the kitchen there was a counter and on top of it was a beer keg.

"Hey guys. I'm Darrel. I'm the booze guy. What are you guys looking for? Something fruity? Something strong?" He asked us. Darrel looked about 22. He seemed a lot older than the rest of us. But why would he be here if he's so much older?

"Just a beer." Adrian said and Darrel nodded. When he turned around I saw a baggie hanging from his back pocket.

Inside of it was powder. Of course, drugs. Maybe he's only 18 but looks older due to the drugs.

"And you my darling?" He asked me.

"Same." I said and he handed me the same thing Adrian had. Both of us thanked darrel and then headed back into the living room where the rest of the party was.

I looked around for Jennifer but I couldn't seem to find her.

"So what now?" Adrian asked me over the loud blaring music.

"Let's just dance" I said and drug him into the dance floor.

We started dancing for a bit until somebody grabbed my arm and drug me from the dance floor.

"What the hell?!" I said and turned to see who it was. I saw Jennifer and a boy.

The boy was tan,and had blonde hair.

" sorry, I just needed to talk to you. The music was too loud. I said your name multiple times, but you didn't answer. So the best thing to do was. To drag you out of there. So we can actually talk, and you can actually hear me." Jennifer said. She was still drunk. She was slurring her words still, but it wasn't as bad as when we arrived at the party.

She must've sobered up a bit, or she wasn't drinking as bad.

" OK, so what did you want to talk about?" I asked her confused. She was such a bitch to me when we arrived at the party, that I don't understand why she would want to talk to me now.

" I just wanted to introduce you to Kyle. He's an old friend of mine, and I thought you guys would hit it off. Since you guys are so alike." Jennifer said. What was surprising was, that use actually be nice to me. What changed? Maybe she's just a drunk person, who is a total bitch.

" yeah, nice to meet you Kyle. I'm Melissa." I said. Kyle looked at me and smirked.

"Nice to meet you too. If I would've known you're so beautiful, I would've asked to meet you a while ago." He said. What a cheesy line.

"I've gotta go. Hope you guys hit it off. I need to go find Marco. I keep hearing he's got some weed." Jennifer said before walking away.

Weed? Is she kidding me?! I never knew she did drugs!!

" so, what do I do? Want to get a drink, or do you wanna dance?" Kyle asked me.

"Yeah sure. Let's go get a drink then we can head outside. But first let me go tell my friend." I said

"Bring her along." Kyle said

"It's actually a He. I'll be right back." I said going back into the crowd and finding Adrian dancing with some girl.

"Adrian, I met a guy. I'm gonna go hang out with him." I said.

"Let me meet him first. I wanna see if he's good enough for my little Melissa." Adrian joked.

I laughed and nodded. I grabbed Adrian's hand and led him out of the dance floor and to where Kyle and I were previously.

When I got there Kyle was gone. He wasn't there and I couldn't see him when I looked around.

" where is her?" Adrian asked me.

"I don't know. He probably wondered off somewhere." I said.

"So since you aren't gonna be going off with him, wanna go upstairs with me?" He asked me.

"No, I need to go find Kyle." I said and walked away.

I need to go find him, but first I need to pee. Before I start looking around for Kyle I look for a bathroom as well. I go up the stairs and find a couple rooms that are down the hall.

The first one was an empty bedroom. Surprising when this is a bunch of high school kids that are horny.

The next room I can tell is the bathroom because there is a closet next to it filled with towels.

I touched the door knob and noticed it was unlocked so I assumed nobody was in there.

I slowly opened the door Incase somebody had forgotten to lock the door.

When the door was finally open I saw a boy and a girl making out on the sink. The girl had her legs and arms wrapped around the boy.

Taking a better look at both of them I saw that the girl was Jennifer and the boy was Kyle.

"You have gotta be fucking kidding me." I said pissed.

They pulled away from each other and both looked at me in shock.

"I thought you tried to set me up with him?!" I yelled.

"I thought you had a boyfriend. You literally said you had a guy friend. That means you guys are either hooking up or its complicated." Kyle said.

"Fuck you Kyle. And you, I thought you were my friend. You are just a selfish bitch who doesn't give a damn about anybody!" I yelled before storming out downstairs. I got back into the dance floor and grabbed Adrian's and and drug him upstairs into the room that was empty from before.

"What are you doing" He asked me as I took off my dress.

"We're gonna have sex." I said
