Biography:

The sky was filled with blackness as fountains of smoke erupted into the atmosphere. All that could be heard were the loud booming of cannon fire and explosions in the distance; it was a great war between nations. One of which sought to have power and control over the others and even weaponized their people to do so.

Sucrose Albrecht, born July 28th and a year before an ongoing war was raised in a small town just in the North-Eastern corner of Germany. The life she lived was relatively normal by a locale's standards up until she was four-years-old. It was rare for a child her age to become ill, but it had seemed that the child came down with a sort of rare fever. Unheard of to medical professionals, this unusual and rare fever hosted several not only unnerving but never-before-seen symptoms in a human child.

When upset, the child's skin would take on a grainy and rough texture as if it had become sandpaper. In the eyes of hospitals, this was immensely interesting and had to be documented in not only her medical records but be recorded into medical history. The symptoms themselves seem not to hurt the child, however, the fever itself seemed to progressively increase in temperature by the day, threatening the health of the child.

Sucrose's mother would bring her into the doctor's office for checkups weekly, so doctors could record her health progress and give her medication to assist in diluting the fever.

Multiple weeks had passed and the fever's temperature increased exponentially, to the point where Sucrose yielded a body temperature of almost fifty degrees Celcius. It was truly a spectacle that she was even able to maintain life at such a high temperature with her young, frail body. Sucrose's mother began to get more worried by the day, frequently asking the doctors if there anything they could do to get their child back to normal health.

Sucrose's regular doctor, Doctor T. Hein, attempted to relieve the mother of her stress by handing her a bottle of medication assuring her that these would relieve Sucrose's fever over a month.

Unbeknownst to the parent, Hein had not given them the medicine he had described. In reality, he'd given them a bottle of pills containing traces of an unknown fluid he'd crafted from his office unintentionally.

During earlier months, when Sucrose's medical records were being initially recorded, something was discovered. The child subconsciously exhales a gaseous form of C12H22O11 which ignites under either extreme levels of heat or pressure. This however piqued the interest of the leader of the nation and caused him to ask Dr. Hein for the documents. He wanted to inspect them, study them, and realized that the material that the child produces could be used in modern warfare.

They were already in the middle of the war from a losing position; the opposing nations had more than enough artillery and ammunition to lasts for months, possibly an entire year.

However, the nation's leader found that the child produced enough material to power a hundred nuclear bombs. In his eyes, he saw the baby as a source of fuel, a weapon that he could utilize to help his nation win the war, but he could not let his people know. If his nation found out, it would ruin his image and more importantly, Sucrose's mother would never consent to such a thing as allowing their child to be the fuel for an ongoing war.

Before Sucrose had even turned one, her father had left one day and still hasn't returned. Her being so young didn't realize that her father had left to participate in the war, leaving her mother in a state of mind that if she were to lose her child, that she wouldn't have anything left in the world. This is why Sucrose's mother clings on to her child and loves her more than anything, willing to give her last dying breath to see her child grow and mature.

Desperate for more power in his army, the leader of their nation began to grow corrupt by the day, paying off a soldier in his army to assassinate the mother of Sucrose and retrieve the child. The soldier naturally had no evil intentions and was told that Sucrose's mother was a terrorist living under the roof of Germany, undercover and hiding from the general law enforcement. The leader figured that he could write this off as doing it for the better of the nation and convince everyone that she was out to cause harm to their nation.

The following morning was accompanied by Sucrose's mother getting up to tend to her four-year-old child, cooking breakfast for the latter. While the two of them sat at the kitchen table enjoying their meal, the mother had noticed a noticeably audible shattering from the room down the hall. It seemed that a window had been broken into as if someone was trying to break into their home. The mother quickly told Sucrose to get under the table before putting on a gas mask in the case of it being an invasion of enemy troops because of the ongoing war. She makes her way down the hall and peeks into the room where she believed she had heard the sound coming from to see a stranger with a mask looking around the room as if she were looking for something or someone.

Sucrose's mother slowly pulled a knife from her pocket and attempted to bumrush the stranger. Nevertheless, the invader reacted quickly and caught her hand as it hovered inches above his face while he struggled to keep the knife from piercing his face. With swiftness and ease, the stranger quickly snatched the knife from her hand and folded her arms behind her back restraining her as she fell to the ground with him riding her back. However, upon the two of them falling down the knife had fallen from his invader's hand and landed on the floor before Sucrose's mother landed directly on top of it.

The knife had slid right under her skin and cut a major artery, she was beginning to bleed out at a rapid pace.

With her little footsteps, Sucrose had wandered into the room, gazing upon the scene.

"Mama?" she uttered. Sucrose didn't understand what was going on, but she saw her mother on the ground with someone large on top of her before the man removed Sucrose's mother's mask. It was at this moment that the intruder began to shake and stumble back off her as he realized her face, that the person whom he'd killed wasn't who he thought it was. That woman was his wife and as he slowly started to remember what she looked like, he looked over at the child and noticed that it was his daughter before shouting God's name in vain for what he had done.

He felt like scum, like dirt, the very fact that he could be manipulated into killing his wife made him sick to his stomach. She hadn't known if her husband was still alive in the war or had died like a hero and was surely not expecting to see him in a situation like this, where neither of them had exchanged words until it was too late. The man rushed over to his bleeding wife, holding her in his arms asking her for forgiveness, and trying to tell her that he didn't know who she was, but she shushed him. She told him that it's okay and that she has already forgiven him.

Sucrose's mother's final words to her husband were to make sure that Sucrose is okay. Soon, the mother's vision faded into blackness and she eventually stopped moving because of how rapid her bleeding rate had become at that time, she was dead.

Looking at her mother, sucrose was still oblivious to what was going on and thought her mom was sleeping. The husband lied his wife on the floor and rushed over to a telephone he had spotted in the home, which was alien to him since they had moved since he left for the war. Within a few seconds, he called the leader of the nation, the one who had hired him and when the latter picked up the phone the husband exclaimed that the leader lied to him. The leader told him that he is doing what's best for their nation and it will guarantee their victory in the war.

The husband is then commanded to bring back the child or he will be killed for treason, however, the husband hangs up in the leader's face and picks up his child.

While the night has fallen, the husband is already walking to an area where he knows his child can be safe. He managed to transport her to an off location near the western part of Germany where she would live with his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew.

He asked of them to not Call her Sucrose Albrecht but to have her last name be Koboyashi to keep the legal enforcements from finding Sucrose's actual location, while the father would leave and return to his wife to bury her.
