Waking up I looked at my hand to make sure everything hadn't been a dream. To my pleasure the tattoo was still there. Lifting my hand I watched my Beyblade appear into my hand. Smiling I grabbed a launcher I had bought only to learn previously that I was unable to properly use it. When I grabbed the launcher something interesting happened.
"Congratulations Host for getting a standard Bey launcher. This one enables the host to launch a Bey at the cost of half the original EP needed to get a certain starting power in a Bey."
Taking in the message I put my shoes on that I had taken off previously, and left for the stadium. On my way there I heard a call. Looking around I put it off only to hear it once more. "Help!!!" Who ever the person was that was calling was most likely young, and in obviously deeply trouble. Running around I eventually found a passage way that had a boy I recognized from the Beyblade anime. Kenta, as well as a certain bull.
Watching them take out their Beys I walked out into the open. This would be as good as a test as any other I decided for myself. The men who noticed me started shouting at their boss. "Boss another brat has shown up. Look at his small arms he probably couldn't even shoot his Bey with enough strength," the punk said to the largest man.
The man who decided to act on this yelled at me " Hey brat get over here, and have a 2 on 5 match with us. We'll go easy on you so don't worry. We'll just bet all of our points to the winning side." Smiling I accepted reluctantly so they wouldn't suspect I actually had no points, all the while knowing something. One my Bey acted like a EP storage somehow So I had some energy ready saved up from the day before on top of the pregifted energy in the bey. Secondly I currently had no points to lose since this was my first match and since that was the case they wouldn't gain anything out of me. I just hoped they wouldn't try killing me or something. Especially that Kyoya.
Walking over I put my Launcher together and stepped next to the small boy. "Stop get out of here! This is my fight." Laughing in my head listening to the boy repeat the exact same thing he said to Ginka I prepared to fight. Looking over at the boy I started talking "Listen I don't know who you are. Frankly I don't really care, but I won't sit by and watch another get bullied like this if I could help even if only a little bit. Plus it's not like I really have a choice kid. They'll come after me next once your took care of. It's better if I help you in the battle and have a chance of getting out of this then having none."
At this message another man walked out from behind me. Ginka, the lead of one of the series made his debut. The large man who started to get a little anxious with all the new people decided to hurry up, and get the battle over with. He didn't want to face more people than this. "Hurry up and get your launchers and fight.
You to new kid." Putting my Bey into position to shoot I readied my shot with my left hand. The kid who saw this started to wonder what was going on. Why did the man hold his Launcher in such a weird way. Ginka who saw this decided to ignore it for now. The boy after all was doing something good unlike the one that he knew used this before. And it's not like there was only one left handed person out there. They were just a rare breed of people. Maybe he could get a few tips on fighting people like him out of this situation.
Readying his own Bey, Pegasus we got ready to shoot. The little boy finally manning up a bit now that there was three of us also pulled out his Bey. "3,2,1 let it rip," the group shouted in a childish way that was the standard of this world, and then the Beyblades were off.
Deciding to go all or nothing right off the bat, I yelled Express Delivery while letting the Beyblade control itself so it could use Decode. The Bey used a nearby pebble, and jumped up a bit smashing the upper side of an enemy Beyblade into the ground instantly defeating it even if it was weaker by a couple times over than the enemy Bey. Attack stats were good as a reference but in an actual battle anything could happen. Smirking I let my Bey target the next one with the bit of energy that it had left. With a bit of a rush it found it's next target in the one Kenta was currently battling.
Using the same strategy The Bey smashed into the next one this time without the Express Delivery while timing it right allowing Kenta to fully flip the Bey over knocking this one out of the fight. Looking over at the other three hoping to get some more action I quickly noticed that Ginka had taken them out in quick order. Next to a true Beyblader I was nothing, or at least for now. Maybe the system would help me grow quicker to catch up with the rest of my generation.
The Gang if that was the right word for these incompetent people ran off immediately after losing. They didn't have weapons, a hostage or anything else. And since that was the case they weren't dumb enough to stay beside the people who had just defeated them. They didn't want to be put in jail or given a community punishment.
Looking back at Ginka he gave me a smile and approached me, and It finally hit me. This was the start of the series. I was stuck in the Beyblade world with a current Beyblade madman running around trying to kill the person in front of me and likely many in this world. And I wasn't sure on how rare left handed shooters were knowing only a couple cases appeared a year.
