EPISODE EIGHT

THE BIG BLOW

On a Tuesday morning Mrs WK was preparing to receive his son who is coming from China, when she received a call from a strange number that her son had been hijacked and kidnapped when coming from the airport, although there are security men with him but no one can explain how it happened. This was a shock to the nation and to Mrs WK and family.

Quickly they set up a negotiation team as soon as the kidnappers made a call to them. They asked the kidnappers to name their price but it seems they aren't after money all they asked for it to talk with Mrs WK. Finally Mrs WK talked with them and they told her if she wants to see her son alive she should withdraw from the race.

It's close to election, if Mrs WK should withdraw at this moment she will be tagged a coward, her son is in the den of kidnappers, she had suffered alot to nurture her children to the stage they are.

Mr Oluwemimo passed a call to her wife telling her to calm down, he has hired some private investigators and the police are seriously at work. He told his wife to be strong that this is a normal thing you should expect in politics.

Mrs WK has set to withdraw from the race, she has witnessed alot, and now she think the safety of her family is more important than securing a better Nigeria. But her husband and other politicians including her supporters begged and persuaded her to stay in the race.

The kidnappers called back and gave her twenty four hours to withdraw or her son dies, she was seeing this as a threat until after twenty four hours the terrorists put her son on a video call to Mrs WK. They pointed a gun at him, Mrs WK begged them to give her five minutes, that she would withdraw. But unfortunately his son was seen in the video coughing hardly, this is when Mrs WK remembered her son is an asthmatic patient. She watched her son die in the video and she couldn't help, although the kidnappers were trying to do something but it seems they don't know what to do, they can't take him to the hospital because they don't want to go to jail.

It's a Sad day for Mrs WK, the sky looks red the sun isn't shining.

Chief Williams tried to be a good man and called her

Chief Williams: hello madam, I am so sorry for the loss, and am sad that it happened at this time, please accept my condolences.

Mrs WK: you killer, God will judge you, you beast, you've killed my son, why! Why! Because of power. But listen this won't make me withdraw I will win and make sure you rot in jail. ( She said in cruelty)

Chief Williams end the call to avoid more cruel words

Mr Oluwemimo called

Mrs WK: am sorry honey, I have killed my Son with my stupid interest, I am not a good mother, I am not a good wife.

Mr Oluwemimo: no honey, what will be will be, his time is up on earth, there is nothing we can do. You're a good mother a good wife and a good woman. You know a better you without a better others is not a better you, because a better other make a better you. Am so sorry honey, what will be will be.

They both wept .

Life still goes on

The whole nation had a holiday because of Mrs WK son, although it's not official, but the people honoured him with this.

John went to a hotel where Mrs WK'S son was kept during the adoption it was in a Borno State. But other security agent came, it was a shock to John. They questioned him on why he's there, but he told them he's on a intelligent mission to track Mrs WK'S son kidnapper. Well there was no time for that, they arrested the suspected kidnappers who are still lodging in the hotel. The hotel belong to the kidnappers God father who is a politician. The hotel is where they carry out their evil operations.

The hotel was looked and the politician God father was arrested. They took them to Lagos through the police investigation the kidnappers work for the politician, but on Mrs WK'S son issue they claimed it's not the politician that send them but someone, they don't really know, but they claimed to have clues on how to get the person, through a police man that connected them with the person. But unfortunately the kidnappers were poisoned by unknown person in the cell, they died without giving the police necessary information.

The police suspected John and ordered his arrest but John got the information and ran away.

John's life become miserable as he cannot stay in one place peacefully, he's now a suspect. He can't even work in the day, and at night he would have to cover his face.

It happened again Mrs WK'S last daughter was arrested this time it's three days to election, the kidnappers request was still that Mrs WK should withdraw. Chief Williams had received letters from foreign organisation asking him what he knows about the kidnap case.

On that faithful day John was at a hotel reception requesting for a room, then he saw Faith and a police man walk in. He quickly hid himself, but later saw them request for a room, the both went upstairs and John followed them until they entered the room. John also entered his room.

Then John was able to convince one of the worker in that hotel to help him place his recorder in the room. After they had left he got the recorder back and listened to Faith and the police conversation.
