Coincidence Indeed

As the day came to an end, slowly they packed up their things in the van. It was a short vacation for Kim's crew but they had so much fun. Good thing that Ethan never visited her again, since that would make her day even worst. Eric went back to his rented villa as soon as he recovered from his hangover. He apologized how he overslept in their villa but Kim reassured him it was fine. She was a little flustered as she recalls the picture she just received earlier. She can't disclose the thought of who sent the picture to her when she asked Zen that it was not her. She wants to ask her employees about it but she was afraid if they have no idea about it. It also comes in her mind that it was Ethan since aside from them he was with them at that night.

"Are all things in the van? Recheck your things maybe you must have forgotten some stuff." Kim told them as she rechecks their luggage.

"There's none has been left behind Miss Kim. We're good to go now." Riz looked at her list of the luggage they have, but all have been checked. Most of them are already in the van, while they wait to go.

"Okay, make sure you never left behind since this place was a little too far to come back. Riz you can go now." Kim went in the driver seat of her car where Zen was waiting beside her. She saw that she was editing some pictures when she buckles herself up, she could only shake her head off. She noticed Zen did not put her seatbelt up, so she immediately done it.

"Oh?! Oh Sorry, I'll make sure to never forget next time." Good thing that Zen has no trauma about her accident so she was not afraid to ride in a vehicle. Kim was just too worried that she's making sure that it was better to be safe in case something might happen. Igniting the engine, they took off from that place.

It was late evening that they arrived in their home. They immediately went to their each room. Zen was also exhausted so she went first and says good night to Kim. Kim could only respond a nod towards her, yawning.

After she changes her night clothes, she slump in her bed and rummage her phone. From few scrolls, she stopped and she stared at the image again. She can't help but smiled widely. Even though her face was not clearly seen, the face of Eric was captured nicely from it. It was a first picture while they're sleeping together. Later with the phone still in her hand she fell asleep.

Wearing beautiful formal attire she has, she entered a fancy building. It was the first meeting for the upcoming project they will be cooperating with. Before coming, Kim already knew it was Eric's company which they will going to be associated with, even though she was not sure if Eric will be there she still dress up nicely if in case he will attend personally the meeting.

"Miss Swace, this way please." An attendant guides her which already knew Kim since she was a regular of their building.

"Sorry for the wait, Miss Swace is here." As soon as she entered, two people were already waiting in a table. She soon recognizes the two of them.

"Finally you're here Miss Kim." He smirked at her. She could not believe how the two of them are in one room and not anything bad happen, which also give her sigh of relief.

"Well, what business do you have here Mr. Ethan?" Mandy went in and have her seat. She noticed the two of them have their usual composure.

"As always, you are throwing the formal greetings. Good thing I made sure we would talk about this in a private room. Of course, I am also a part of the project you are going to part take in." laying his elbow to the table, intertwining his hands while resting his chin above it. He grinned widely while directly looking at her.

She never knew there are other parties involve in the project. She did review the contract but not a single name of Ethan was written there. How is that possible? Did he use other name? ... Kim realizes there was indeed a name written but it was a female name as she recalls who the largest investor for their project is.

"I came on behalf of my future wife. I personally gave her name for the project since it was part of her idea that she wants to invest in." he casually answered her.

"Anyway I've already ordered the food will be having." He stated as a cart arrived and place each plates and utensils on their table.

Kim gave up and turns on Eric side that was quiet as she arrived. Her brows creased as she realized he was strangely staring on his phone frowning. He must have realized someone was staring at him that he looked up, they locked eyes with each other.

"I-ah… I'm sorry for not greeting you Miss Kim, it's nice to see you again." He put down his phone, turning the screen down.

"Same to you Sir Eric." She slightly bowed, and smiled towards him. It even made Ethan grin widely. Eric has a slight hint of awestruck from her smile that he immediately composed himself.

"We should eat before discussing about the project." They agreed and silently eating. It was too awkward to suddenly talk when Kim always never had guts to start a topic while eating.

"I was a little surprised when I heard the two of you would be taking part in a project, especially the one that my fiancé created. This must really be fate." Indeed it was incredible that as to how many who participated the bidding, they won the top two to take part in it.

"It's not only fate that we gain the project Ethan, we are qualified to have it." Kim firmly corrected him, since she feels he think little of them.

"Don't misunderstood it Miss Kim, I'm just stating my opinion." Ethan smiled and takes a sip of his drink, secretly he observed Eric's reaction from it but he was too composed when he sees him. That's what made him irritated from him since he cannot read too much from him, as if all his movement is calculated. He sighed in his mind thinking what his opinion on the picture he sent anonymously is. If only he would make a little interest in it.

Even though they have personal conflict in each other, it never affects their discussion on the items of the project that they must discuss about. Though they have some changes they proposed to efficiently go with it, they still come up with a conclusion in it and approved by both parties. That's the first time Kim spoke fluently in front of Eric unflustered.

"Well, looks like that was all of it. Anyway look at the time its nearly evening, Sophia must be waiting for me. I will leave ahead of you two." He never wait of their response and wave at them goodbye. The two of them, felt the cold air as soon as Ethan left. Earlier it was comfortable since Ethan was a sociable type of person, even if he have some flaws in his attitude. But now, they are alone together, Kim could finally fell her tense self from the presence of Eric alone.

"Uhm… Sir Eric, I am glad that you are the one that we'll work together with. Please take care of us." Kim gave her right hand to have a handshake. Eric looks at her first before accepting her hand.

"Likewise, I'll make sure to work with the best we can." It was a brief moment before they let go, but for Kim it was an opportunity to get close to him.

"Let's head out together Miss Kim." He offered to open the door since they both will be leaving the place. Kim nod, and made her way out. Walking side by side as they took the hallway, shortly they arrived in the parking lot. Coincidently, they park nearby from each other once they push the button on their keys. That made them a little surprise that made them look at each other.

"Pfft, sorry I can't help it. HaHaha…" she wipe a tear from her eyes, she can't imagine how did that happen but it is sure made her laugh in the situation.

"What a really coincidence indeed, well it made it easier for me then." Since he will no longer take a few distance as soon as he escort Kim.

"Well, see you the next time then, Sir Eric." Kim opens her cars door, she wants to stay a little longer but it must make him felt uncomfortable if she does.

"Miss Kim… Since it's nearly evening, can invite you to a dinner? It's my treat, since we'll be working together from now on." He stated looking directly at her, she never expect that to hear from him. He was about to take back his offer but she answered.

"Yes, I gladly accept it." She smiled widely.

"Then I'll send you the address, then we'll meet there." He stated, he sent her the address. Kim went out first, and then followed by Eric. It was a sudden decision of Eric, since earlier he always pondered about it. He was also bothered about what Ethan told him before Kim arrived.
