It’s Not Young Master, It’s Husband

In a moment, Su Jiu and Ji Yuxian were the only two people left in a room that was filled with people not too long ago.

Su Jiu sat down on a chair and gazed at the entire table of delicious food. She inhaled deeply. "It smells so good!"

And with that, she picked up her chopsticks. She first picked up a shrimp-ball and put it in her mouth. It was savory but without the overpowering taste of seafood. The meat was tender, plump, and quite delicious. Su Jiu stuffed some rice into her mouth, eating quite merrily.

Ji Yuxian sat across from her and watched with a wrinkled brow.

He couldn't help but remember the table of discarded meat bones at the restaurant. Was this daughter of the Su family raised as a peasant?

Or was the Su family so poor that they couldn't afford food?
