Su Jiu was not in her tent back at the military camp. No one was sure where she had gone.

Xiao Lie told the imperial bodyguard to leave one of the candied hawthorn sticks behind, and send the rest of the things to the kitchen tent.

The bonfire was already burning brightly as it was evening. Nangong Bi had waited outside the tent for a long while before she saw Nangong Shu stepping out of it. She stepped forward quickly and yelled in excitement, "Brother!"

Nangong Shu's facial expression remained indifferent as he smiled lightly. "Did you create any trouble?"

"No!" Nangong Bi replied immediately and giggled. "You can ask His Highness if you don't believe me!"
