Who's the boss here?

CASSIE'S POV

Cassie quickly hit the brake after hearing someone calling out her name loudly. She looked around and found an angry guy walking toward her.

She was stunned. She stared at him standing before her; his face reddened in anger. Sweat rolled from his forehead to his white T-shirt, now soaked from sweat.

"Cassandra Marivella Chen Young!" he repeated, shouting her full name.

She didn't know whether to be intimidated or laugh, not in a funny way, but she was amused and entertained while staring at his sweating, angry face.

"Is this why you refused to be picked up?" he asked her firmly, suppressing his voice not to yell once again, but the tone of it was full of authority.

She can't help but keep silent and gape her eyes, staring at him with her mouth partly open. She can't find the words to defend herself. Why had she always been speechless in front of this guy? She pressed her lips and looked down at the ground, waiting for a lecture.

"Do you realize how dangerous that was?" Shun pointed out the stunts she did.

He began his scolding, Cassie thought. She looks up and gathers the courage to answer, "I've been doing it often, so I know what I am doing."

She talks back, yet almost just like a whisper.

Even so, what if someone or wild animals are below the ridge when you suddenly jump off? "And? Do you have an idea what will happen to you?" there is anger in his voice, but sincerity could also be sensed in it.

"I ..." There's no excuse she can affirm. She knows that her Master is right. Honestly, she has already been in many accidents; during her first try at jumping and flipping from those ridges. But now, she could completely pull it off and manage a safe landing.

Shun's discovery today, her chance to make him agree, is thin. Cassie just remembered how she plans to get Shun's permission; to continue traveling to her school by bike only. Instead, he caught her doing those stunts.

RIP to me..... Cassie mumbles.

SHUN'S POV

He was sitting on the extended sofa reading reports on his Tab when Daichi and Jing returned.

"So, how is it?" he eagerly asked Daichi, who sat on the single couch across from him."Ah, as you predicted, boss, she refused to be picked up; even to send her lunch, she disagrees," Daichi reported.

Shun stays quiet and in deep thought. "Okay," he said after a long moment.

Daichi scratched his head and shook it. He already knows if something is bothering his boss. Sometimes, he really chooses to share nothing.

"What are you sulking about?" Shun asked Daichi.

"Am I? I did not. Just frustrated about you," his reply made Shun confused. "Say it with something on your mind, boss," he added.

Shun is a bit surprised. Is he visible to Daichi? Or just this guy who is the only one who dares to voice out his thoughts about him?

"Nah... it's nothing," he responded. "I'm just thinking. It is apparent she'll refuse at first," Shun stated without glancing at the man before him.

"Alright, let's eat now," Shun declared, then sat up from the sofa, taking the lead and moving toward the kitchen.

"It is rare for you to cook personally, boss. I will savor every spoon of the food!" Daichi exclaimed excitedly."Hah, you'll wash the dishes afterward," Shun ordered in a fun way.

"Yes, boss!" Daichi replied with full enthusiasm.

"What are you both talking about? What's my worth if I was hired full time if I only do a few chores?" Auntie Ling commented as she heard their conversations. She is busy setting the food on the table when they enter the kitchen.

Daichi laughed loudly while Shun just smiled a little. When Daichi saw Rudolf and realized what he was doing, he immediately jumped on him and scolded him. Rudolf secretly ate at the sink, and Daichi complained about how he could eat first without waiting for the boss.

Auntie Ling just shook her head while smiling, staring at these men. She's getting used to these boys, and they really form a good relationship.

After a lunch break, Shun returned to the site with Rudolph and Daichi to plan his soon hotel and resort on the island. The planning finished after three hours, and they returned to the Villa.

Shun immediately takes a shower to freshen up; after digging the afternoon snack, Auntie Ling prepared for them. Daichi quoted how they would gain weight if they stayed on the island forever.

Shun chose comfortable blue jeans, a white T-shirt, and black walking sneakers after a long shower. He told Daichi and Rudolf he would have a stroll in the neighborhood, and the two just said okay and just treated him like somebody.

The two conveniently hang out in the back of the house near the pool, drinking beer. On the other hand, Rudolph occupied himself in front of his laptop not to work overtime but to play his online game. While Daichi half-naked and jumped off into the pool.

Shun crossed his arms and shook his head while staring at these two. Look, who's the boss here? He chuckles and leaves.

He wanders the neighborhood, and he meets a few residents nearby. He had already walked a little farther when he decided to enter the Man-Made Forest.

While trailing the cemented road, he heard some rustles from a distance. The forest was so quiet that it could listen to all the birds singing and the animals that became this forest their home. Shun saw a deer in the distance. He knew they were endangered already, and this forest was the safest place for them. He can't stop feeling proud.

Then the rustles are getting nearer to him. He could hear the twigs twitching as a vehicle ran across them. His eyes popped out when he realized who it was.

"Cassandra Marivella Chen Young!" he can't help to shout this girl's full name.

He does a longer pace toward her, who has stopped pedaling and is shocked to see him. He can't stop himself from scolding her. The stunts she made just now are difficult for non-professionals.

This girl is really stubborn about doing such an act, never thinking of her own safety."What I am going to do with you!" Shun murmurs helplessly; he then sighs after scolding her a little.

"All right, let's go," Shun turned around and began walking. He stopped in a moment, then glanced over his shoulder.

"What are you waiting for, Cassandra?" he asked her.

Cassie followed him.

"Lead the way," not long, he commanded.

Cassie glances at him before she leads the way to the front.

In Cassie's thoughts, she knows that her Master is confused by the sudden route to take... but he stays composed and wears his authoritative aura, not letting her notice; he is now lost in the woods.

Hmm... that's a secret. Cassie thought evilly.
