Busy streets and crowded places are typical morning traffic in this crazy city.
Thousands of commuters marched along, looking for a public ride. A bus, a taxi' or by a train...
A group of students complaining about the result of their recent Thesis and that stern professor won't give some slack time off...
Those High School students who passed by began to make plans where they would go after school today when they didn't arrive at school yet. Then, that cos-players discussed the upcoming Comic Convention next week and their participation in that Game Battle.
The white-collar workers are in a hurry chasing the clock to arrive at work on time, are the people who only think of surviving each day.
Behind those crazy sceneries is where one could discover the laughter and smiles of strangers.
Those a housewife accompanying her children to school, an old couple carrying bags of groceries, and that nanny following her employer to walk the puppies are just one of the morning habits of ordinary people in this society...
Where the simplicity of life is known…
And to the kings who seated on top of those buildings in the distance, where the world within their grasp are those who actually exhausted themselves to begin their day.
One of those (King) is Shun Williams Crow. He has been signing and reviewing the documents from seven o'clock in the morning.
He glances at his wristwatch, and it is quarter to nine. Kier is late. Is that man hasn't sober up yet? Daichi keeps filling his glass last night even though that guy knows that Kier's alcohol tolerance is low.
Shun called Kier's office and ordered his secretary to let him see when her boss arrived. He resumed reviewing the documents in front of him but frequently glanced at his table. He heaves a long sigh.
And when did these stacks of folders disappear from his sight? It seems that each day passing by, the pile added more.
Early morning and his head had already throbbing. He started thinking that it may be good to keep Rudolf from going to China. At least half of his workload would divide.
He was just 30 years old, and it shouldn't matter yet. But last night, Andrew Lawrence kept nagging him to get married soon next so that there is someone who would take care of him.
But he questioned this to himself. Is it necessary to get married to have a person who could care for his needs? Then how about hiring a personal maid or something else instead?
There's no way someone from High Society would do what good wives do.
Those known daughters only knew how to shop and browse their phones to search for new trends then travel the country just to buy them. Shun tilted his head.

Kier closes his car doors loudly. He told the Wait Boy to park his car somewhere or anywhere.
His steps are longer and in a hurry. It is exactly nine o'clock in the morning and the first time he has been late! He hates irresponsible employees who come to work late. That is why he makes sure to arrive at the office before 7:30 in the morning or earlier than usual.
The employees who greeted him showed an odd expression on their faces. 'What is wrong with these people?' He thought.
He reached his head and tried to press the back of it. It is still hurting.
He was half asleep this morning trying when he felt that he was flying out of bed. Jean kicked him suddenly. He wonders why. He wanted to confront that woman, but his soul jumped out of his body after seeing the time showing on his digital clock on the bedside table.
Exactly 7:30 in the morning. He was already late! He rushes to the shower room, but it confused him why he is naked? Maybe that is why Jean kicked him so hard? He wonders if he took off his clothes because his body is burning, and the alcohol makes him feel odd.
Maybe he should call Jean and explain what happened? Kier thought.
He now arrives on the 72nd floor, and the employees bow and then greet him. Still, they all give him that kind of look, and some employees even whisper at each other.
His secretary just feels relieved when she sees him. Lorna bowed and told him the president wanted to see him. He just nods in his response.
After placing his bag, he quickly marched towards the President's Office where Shun was occupied signing some documents, and then he handed it to his secretary. After his secretary left, he was asked about specific issues.
After their quick meeting, Shun asked him."Did you look in the mirror today?"
"Huh? Why?" he asked, confused by Shun's question. "I was in a hurry, so I think, no."Shun let out a teasing laugh. He was more confused about why his boss started to jest early in the morning. Why does even the president give him a funny reaction? He watched Shun gesturing and pointed to his storeroom.
"What?"
"Maybe you wanted to use my washroom." He suggested.
Still confused, he entered the pantry. Shun counted one to ten, then a scream from his storeroom. It looks like someone just sobered up. Shun thought.
Kier seated back and shocked plastered on his face."Don't show that kind of expression like it was your first time."
The eyes of the guy in front of him wanted to pop out from his face. Shun's shoulder began shaking. Until loud laughs let out from his mouth. Kier is giving him a dangerous look.
"Don't you dare tell that man!" he threatened his boss."
"What? What's wrong with celebrating your honeymoon?" Shun continued laughing. Not long after, Daichi entered the office. Kier gave him signal gazes, but Shun was grinning.
"Oi, what's up? Did I miss something?"
"Yes."
"No!"
Shun and Kier answered contrarily.
"Huh?" Daichi is confused about their actions.
"Yes!" Shun insisted. Kier keeps glaring at him.
"Have you just arrived? You are late!" Shun said afterward. Kier sighed. He pulled his collar to cover his neck.
"Of course not!" Daichi answered. "I went straight to the Glass Garden to have my initial inspection before the final one. I came now, but I remembered, I have a meeting with my team at 9:30 so, I am leaving now. Bye!"
Daichi exited the office in a flash. He remembers how he was drunk Kier last night, the guy giving him a dangerous glance. Shun chuckled.
"I'm leaving now too. I'll discuss with Jean about the contract."
"Hum…" Shun nodded.

His secretary knocks on his office. "President Crow, the floor Captain Ming is here."
"Okay, let him come in."
Shun looked up from reading another folder. He notices the box Captain Ming is carrying.
"Good morning, President Crow," Captain Ming's greetings.
"Good morning. What is it?" he asked curiously.
"Ah. I saw Director Isagawa's gang in the lobby. They said this is from Hiryuu Island. Mr. Jing handed it to them before they flew from the island earlier."
"I see. Okay, just put it there." Shun pointed out the long table.
Captain Ming nods, then steps towards the table and carefully places the box. Then, he bid goodbye. "I will take my leave, President."
"Alright."
Captain Ming bowed before he left. Shun put the folder and sat up from his seat.
