True Star Shines Above

The riot ceased, and everyone watching the helicopter landed on the ground. Daichi's men beat the gang and kneel on their feet on the ground. Daichi's men make two lines from her left and right side.

Their action surprised her. Then her heart skips its beating after recognizing the first person who came out of the helicopter. It was Shun!

The gang lining up in front of her now bowed their heads.

"Welcome, Master!" they greeted him at once.

Cassie's heart was beating fast inside her chest. She was like watching a drama like the one Joanna often streamed on her phone.

A Mafia boss suddenly arrived on the scene and entered a grand entrance. His men lined up and gave respect for his arrival. Then there are flower petals floating around, and the boss is glowing. He walked between his men, and he definitely looked so handsome and put on a sexy smile like...

No!!! Brother Shun is angry!!! He's not smiling like in those dramas who winked and tried to look cute! He was also not walking like a supermodel showing off his shoes up to his coat and tie. Shun walked as fast as he could, then stopped before her. Her mouth opens, but she can not utter any word. Shun is angry, but it looks like he is only controlling it. Head down and staring at the ground, she avoids meeting his gaze. He is mad because she sneaks out of the island and causes him trouble.

She closes her eyes when she sees him raise a hand. But then she felt a gentle touch on her head. She looks up at him, a tear forming on her eyelids. Shun is not saying a word, but she feels care and security. As tears began falling down her cheeks, she then...

Shun's arm caught her on the waist, and one arm held her on the back. She also heard him screaming her name. She smiled between dizziness.

"Shun..." she whispered, then lost consciousness.

It dumbfounded him. '

Why does she just call his name alone when she gets hit on the head? He thought.

Shun carried Cassandra and wandered his eyes to the group of men who first approached her earlier. He gave them a deadly glare that almost made them pee on their pants, shaking in fear.

'How come? The Iron Fist King is here!'

That is what they all thought… they never imagined that this girl knew this King!

"Daichi!" Shuns called out.

"Boss!" Daichi quickly responded.

"Take care of everything here and find those bastards, even if you need to turn upside down in this town!" he ordered.

"Understood, boss!" Daichi bowed. He was glad they had just arrived on time, and Cassie was now safe.

Shun walks toward his flying transport and climbs up with Cassandra in his arms. Daichi and Rudolf left in the region to take care of things and punish those who harmed Cassie.

She woke up in an unfamiliar room. Wait, what happened? Does she have a dream? She stared at the ceiling. The chandelier in the middle of the room is fascinating. The cooling from the air-conditioner is light and smells like...

Cassie sniffs the blanket. It smells Shun! She quickly sits up from the bed. Ouch. Her head. She reaches for the back of her head while her eyes travel the entire room. Where is she?

'Is this brother Shun's room?' She asked herself. Is she at his house? But it feels different. Wait...

Cassie scanned her body. She is now wearing silk pajamas. Who changes her clothes, then? She began panicking when the bedroom door opened, and a beautiful woman entered.

"Oh, you are finally awake! Are you feeling alright?" The beautiful woman asked with a warm smile that made Cassie calm down.

She nodded. Who is this beautiful woman? But she could see a few features that resembled Shun. Maybe she is the sister Daichi mentioned once.

"I'll notify brother Shun that you are awake," she said and headed back to the door.

"Ah, um... thank you..." shyly, Cassie said to this woman, who was curious to learn her name.

"Blaire… just call me Blaire." She gives a friendly smile.

"Okay, sister Blaire. Thank you."

"You are welcome, Cassie," Blaire sits on the bed and hugs her. "I have been dying to meet you!"

"Oh… But, um... are you the one who?" It would worry her if Shun did it.

"Ah, yes. Don't worry. Jean and I will change your clothes." Blaire understood Cassie concerning who would change her clothes. She smiled playfully.

"Ah, I see... please tell sister Jean, thank you."

"No problem. I'll get your dinner. You must be starving."

She nodded. Suddenly, it overwhelms her to meet Shun's sister. Blaire looks nice. It seems like everything is a dream.

Cassie leaves the bed and curiously opens the giant curtain on the wall when lights seem to escape from the fabric. She found out it was a floor-ceiling window, and then a city night view greeted her eyes.

Wow. She is actually in a building! Is this the hotel Shun is managing? So then, this scenery is what Shun always sees at night. The lights are like blinding her. They are dazzling, but she realizes everything is just an artificial starry view in the distance. Back on the island, the night sky still is the best during nights with a clear sky.

Cassie did not notice the person who quietly entered the room. Shun leans on the door and suits himself to watch Cassandra, mesmerized by the city lights. But for him, those are just ordinary lights. Because the true star shines above them, all is in front of him.

Cassie takes a step in this floor-ceiling window toward the corner. Her eyes remain gazing down below this hotel. Shun remembers something. But he was too late.

"Cassandra!" he runs towards her and helps her sit up. "I'm sorry, that was my carelessness. I did not put them away properly."

It happens; Cassie steps on his dumbbells lying on the floor. Because no one entered this room except Blaire and his trusted Butler and the guys, his stuff was just left in certain places.

"How was your head?" he asked worriedly.

"It was fine. It's not hurting that much," Cassie replied in a whisper.

"I'm glad," said Shun.

She looks away and avoids making eye contact with him. Why does this room suddenly become humid? She thought. Her face flushing, her chest thumps strangely. The reason she wanted to keep a distance from Shun. He might hear how loud her heart rumbled inside.

He stood and stretched his one arm towards her. She takes it and lets him pull her up. Still, Shun did not let go of her hand. But when someone knocks on the door, she quickly takes it back.

"Let's have dinner, Missy!"

"Brother Daichi!" she runs towards him. And they hugged each other. "Thank you for rescuing me earlier."

"Oh, it's nothing. For you, I'll fly into the sky!" Daichi laughs loudly.

It irritates Shun, who Daichi just ignored when his boss glared at him but escorted Cassie outside. Daichi was actually grinning.

Left inside the bedroom was someone who was sulking. Why does he didn't receive a thank you and a hug?
