Shadow Fire

She felt a sharp pain all over her body like needles pricking her. She tried to scream but no sound would come out. It went on and on without end. She saw different strands of colours surrounding her, wrapping round her body increasingly. The faster it moved, the sharper the feeling. When she thought she would no longer be able to endure it, the pain stopped.

She closed her eyes in relief and suddenly, a pressure came on her. It was so sudden and strong that she passed out. She woke up and she felt she was flying. She opened her eyes to see herself falling at a very high speed. "Ahhhhhhh" she screamed and fell splash into a body of water.

"Where did this water come from" she thought as she swam to the shore. One moment she tripped, the next she fell from the sky into a body of water.
