'Tonight's Gonna Be Special'

Round of 16 - 1st leg

Juventus Vs Atletico Madrid

Juve lost at away game against ATM 0-2. Everyone ruled them out. Saying there's no way back now. They said that a 'certain player' which they bought this summer can't perform without his previous club. They said that, that 'certain player' can't do anything against the solid defense of ATM (his former club's city rivals). They doubted him. They trolled him. They made fun of him. They wrote him off.

Little did they know that, this is all that 'certain player' wanted. He didn't wanted some thousand people as his opposition instead he wanted the whole world against him. So that he can prove himself. So that he can shut their filthy mouths up. So that he can tell the world that to him it doesn't matter with whom or against whom he plays he's gonna be BEST, he's gonna be the LEADER, he's gonna be the CHAMPION.

Round of 16 - 2nd leg

Juventus Vs Atletico Madrid (aggregate 0-2)

Game started with very high intensity, Juve pressed high up the field and attacked their defense wall since the start. In the early 5 mints Juve was denied a goal from Chiellini, as the referee ruled it out thinking that the 'certain player' fouled the goalkeeper when he went in for the ball. But this didn't mattered to him cause he had already said that "tonight's gonna be special". He pumped up his teammates. He pumped up the crowd. He was the Leader, a Commander and a Very Hungry Lion Looking For The Taste Of Victory.

Then came the moment at 27' minute of the game. That 'certain player' jumped in the air after a beautiful cross from Bernardeschi, with great force and bravery and showed the ball the way to net from his spot-on header. Goal! Again he signaled the crowd to increase their volumes 'cause "tonight's gonna be special".

Half Time

1-0

Then came the second half. Both team entered the pitch with the same intensity as the first half. Juve kept most of the possession and kept on throwing attacks at Atletico Madrid's goal. Countless of foul were being made but referee turned a blind eye to all of them.

At 49' minute that 'certain player' again leaped into the air, this time the cross came from Cancelo, and directed the ball into the goal. Jan Oblak made great effort to throw it out, but through goal line technology it was given a goal. 2 nil up. "Tonight's gonna be special".

Then game went into the last 10 minutes. Scored were level 2-2 through aggregate. Everyone feared that the match would go into extra minutes. Means their will be more drama and anxiety. But the Italians were set to end the game as victorious at the full-time.

At 85' minute, Bernardeschi made a brilliant run towards the 18 yard box and was tripped by Correa. Referee blows the whistle. Penalty! As Atletico Madrid knew, the whole world knew that who's gonna step up, who's gonna take this chance. The 'certain player' with ice runs in his veins. The player in who's world there is no space for mercy. The greatest Villain, the Nightmare, the Warrior.

86' minute. The 'certain player' stepped up, places the ball on the spot. Took his signature deep breath, in deep concentration. Referee signals him to kick. The 'certain player' with Cristiano Ronaldo as his name kicks the ball. And He Scores! Of course He Scores! The Greatest Player In The History Of Football. The Greatest Player In The History Of Champions League. It's Him, It's Always Him. CRISTIANO RONALDO. He Delivers When It Matters The Most. He Turned The Tie Around All By Himself. The Saviour. The Hope. The Inspiration To Millions.

Brilliant!

Just Brilliant!

Who other player would have such balls to say before the game that he's gonna do impossible? Who would invite all his family and friends, saying just wait and watch, I'm gonna shine tonight? Who have this Ego? This Arrogance? This Belief? This Confidence? This Passion?

It is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro.

It's been 16 years of his professional career and almost uncountable times have he proved time and time again that 'never and ever doubt him'. Because he always throws the Karma back, with interest too.

We football fans have been bless to witness two of the greatest players, Messi and Ronaldo. They both are phenomenal and incomparable. But if there's something which makes them apart is Ronaldo's winning mentality. There's no other athletic with such a strong will and passion than him. He's a monster.

El Mejor Jugador Del Mundo!

Cristiano Ronaldo!
