"Ah! Fvck no! No!" Han Lu screamed hysterically as she jumped away from Long Cheng like a cat that got its tail stepped on.
They all looked at her with amusement, as it was just hilarious to watch a female dragon shifter, continuously cursed while looking at her black dress with all the disgust and disdain that was in her for her entire lifetime.
They could not blame her. Who could endure having someone suddenly puked all over you?
It was too bad for Han Lu as shifter had more sensitive senses compared to humans. So the odor of vomit should be worse for her.
"I'm… Sorry…" Long Cheng apologized, but the smirk on his pale face showing that he was not sincere at all.
Han Lu ignored Long Cheng as she was still too busy being shocked until she again screeched once more and fled. Running away from them, "Wuaah!"
Long Cheng chuckled weakly as he watched Han Lu ran away from him as far as possible. The woman should be heading home to change clothes. It was best that he leaves as soon as possible in order for him to avoid having her bother him.
He grabbed Long Jun by the shoulder as support to stand up properly. Long Jun cringed, "If you show any sign of vomiting again, I will kick you back to the palace." He threatened as he knew that his cousin would chase his mate despite feeling discomfort. So it was no use trying to convince him otherwise.
"Where is the damn medic?" Long Cheng asked instead. "I need pain killers or brewed coffee. Like 10 cups, no sugar, please," He was still feeling dizzier, despite him limiting his movements.
With the influence of the tranquilizer still in effect, his fall from 17th floor while still recovering his magic suppressed by his mate with the enchanted rope and finally vomiting all the contents in his stomach, Long Cheng had to give himself kudos for still being conscious.
Long Jun snorted, "I don't think that will work on you. Oy?" He patted Long Cheng's cheek when he noticed his head leaning forward like he fell asleep.
"Tsk. I'm awake." Then the medic finally arrived. The flying Voltar landed in the middle of the street. The medic staff immediately went out of it and hurriedly checked Long Cheng.
Long Jun helped Long Cheng enter the Voltar. He was confident that his cousin would be taken care of as the medical facility was top of the line. It was complemented by a team of medical professionals: nurses, first-aid personnel, and a doctor.
It could also accommodate ten shifters at one time and could easily be converted into an operating room. In each Emergency Voltar, they had also invested in two medical booths from Planet Orcus, which was known for its specialized medical technology, and their machines were costly.
The dragon shifters from Planet Shou might be very rigid in their traditions, but they understood that they still need to have the most advanced medicine or equipment for emergencies. It was like a very sophisticated version of the human ambulance.
Long Jun watched the female doctor first neutralized the tranquilizer. He also did not miss that the moment she stepped close to Long Cheng, his cousin immediately bit his lower lip with discomfort.
"Ah! He might-Vomit…" Long Jun warned the female doctor, but before he finished, his cousin already made a mess. At least Long Cheng did his best to vomit onto the floor instead.
Burf!
The sound, Long Cheng kept on making as he continued to puke. He felt that if this continues, he will end up vomiting out his intestines. His stomach was already painful, and he was exhausted.
"Let's put him onto the medical booth." The female doctor decided.
Long Cheng was placed into the medical booth. It was a vertical enclosure that did not allow lying flat onto the floor. He was surrounded by layers of glass that acted as a digital screen enabling him to see the commands that the doctors were entering for the medical booth.
He knew that it was best to stand up, but he was simply too exhausted to do so. Long Cheng kept sliding to sit on the floor even when a ray of blue light from each side of the booth started moving from the floor upwards, indicating it was initiating the scan.
'So it needs both sides to scan?' Long Cheng could not help but find the expensive medical booth to be lacking, as he remembered his mate performing the scan without any medical booth.
Long Cheng considered another possibility, 'If she can use sophisticated technology like that, does that mean she is from Planet Orcus?'
