Mo Rin asked, "You want me to send a Flying Voltar?" She offered. They both knew that it was also not a good option since all form of sky transportation was registered and strictly monitored in the Dragon Country. It would be effortless to trace the serial number of the Flying Voltar back to their store if they proceed with her suggestion.
Yes, the store had a backing, and the captain of that particular backing was the one causing all the current commotion right now. Still, Mo Rin knew first hand that her senior martial sister, Lu Meili, was never stupid considering that she was the oldest and the first disciple of their master.
'How old is she again? I think she's way past the age to be married on her planet. Does she still need to get married if she's already so rich?' Mo Rin thought to herself but did not voice that out. Age was a sensitive topic among women, after all.
Nevertheless, they had other issues at hand that needed an immediate solution.
"Senior, you are always following the rules. Are you so bored that you decided to cause trouble out of a whim? Tsk. You should have planned this better!" Mo Rin released a deep sign that could be heard clearly over the communication device of Lulu.
Then she added, "I always told you before, smuggling an unregistered Voltar will be useful in the future, but you refused. Our other sisters also have the same idea! Who would have thought that the one who needed it the most is you?" Mo Rin continued to rant. Then she declared her bright idea, "I can distract them! Please! Please let me!"
Mo Rin offered enthusiastically. Since her senior sister was already being chased around for breaking the law, then it mattered not if they break another one while she joined in the fun. As long as there were no casualties, there was nothing wrong to have fun once in a while.
"Just stay there and be quiet." Lu Meili said with a frown dismissing the suggestion. "Stand by." She added before cutting her communication with Mo Rin and stopped running. There was no need to involve another person in her current situation. It was not such a big deal that needed someone else to get involved.
Lu Meili stopped running and just stood up to rest and observed her surroundings.
She had initially no plan of engaging in any form of a fight with the dragon shifters. Now, it seemed that it was her only choice if she wanted to go to the thunder valley.
The dragon shifters, who were chasing after her, were drawing near. 'Hmm. There are only six or so that are worthy opponents.' She thought as she looked at her bare feet that were dirty and aching.
'I should have brought a stealth talisman or equipped Lulu with stealth feature. There would be lots of loots for master.' Considering the situation, anyone would assume that she was in a dire situation.
The smirk on her face said otherwise as Lu Meili looked like she was having fun. The chase was making her nostalgic about the time when her master trained her in the Void Forest.
Ironically when she was in the forest, all the beast were attracted to her scent — finding out later that her very own master was the one to be blamed for it.
"Never mind. It is probably time to stretch some muscles. I hope that they can keep up. So who do you guys think was better? You stupid assassins trying to kill my mate? Or the guards that were trying to protect him from me?" Lu Meili said with a smile on her face as she patted her bag, talking to whatever was in it.
Lu Meili wiped off her sweats when she heard a sudden shout behind her.
"There she is!" One of the soldiers pointed out the currently standing woman, whose back was facing them.
"I knew that we would catch up with her. I am very confident of this human-made technology thing." Lou Bai stated. The dragon country was not so primitive that they were not up to date with technology. It was his fault for forgetting about radar's existence. He was a soldier for a long time and focused on all his energy to get stronger and found that the human-made objects a sign of laziness.
"It is called radar. You lunatic," Wang Xiu replied sarcastically as they sprinted towards her carefully as they were closing in on the lady. With the royal soldiers plus Wang Xiu, Lou Bai and some more from the special unit, there should be no problem capturing her alive.
Wang Xiu finds the situation bothersome, especially when just dealing with just a single woman. 'I feel like this woman refused Prince Long Cheng, and he wanted to punish her.'
