Nuisance

Lou Mary was there, smiling sweetly and trying her best to conceal something as she looked at the noble dragon lady. "Lady Lu, please remind our Commander that the criminal was fooling him," she said respectfully.

"Lou Mary!" Long Jun hissed disapprovingly.

Instead of answering, Han Lu continued to watch Lu Meili with distaste, as if she was calculating all her offenses silently.

Long Jun felt his authority was being questioned. However, the more defensive he got,  the more suspicious it would be.

"Lady Lu, what are you doing here? Are you here to help? As you can see, I have already captured the culprit, and there is no need of anything else," he said, emphasizing every word.

Han Lu shifted her gaze to Long Jun, "I came because I thought that my love is in serious trouble, and I wanted to make sure he is alright. He was feeling sick earlier, wasn't he? I felt I could bring medicine to Prince Ch-"

"Lady Lu! This is not the right place to chat! You should return! It's very dangerous here!" Long Jun quickly interrupted Han Lu's statement.

He suddenly felt a very dangerous aura from the woman beside him.

When he looked at Lu Meili's expression, Long Jun was still unable to read what she was thinking. Her face was blank, as she stared at the new arrivals.

"Lady Lu, we will see you later," Long Jun said and signaled to his soldiers to leave with Lu Meili.

Since Long Jun had refused to change his mind despite Han Lu's taunting from earlier, Lou Mary did not have a choice but to follow the order.

'Useless,' She thought silently since Han Lu was unable to stop Long Jun from keeping Lu Meili alive. 'I need to make things worse for this outsider…'

On the other hand, Long Jun was in a hurry as he tried to remove  Han Lu from the scene. He could not let the two women in the same place any longer. If something happened, Long Cheng would surely blame him.

There were a lot of stories regarding Long Cheng and Han Lu's relationship in the Dragon Country.

Since Long Cheng was a charmer ever since he reached adulthood, no one questioned if the stories were real or not.

Some say that Han Lu was one of the unlucky ladies who got his affection and fell from his charm for a very long time ago.

Long Jun was not even sure if Long Cheng did sleep with the noble before.

Regardless, it looked like only a one-sided affection now, where Long Cheng always tried his best to avoid her.

Han Lu, though, made sure to take advantage of her status and tried her best to seal any opportunity of closure with him.

Long Jun did not like to be around the woman and kept away as much as possible, despite him making fun of Long Cheng when Han Lu was around.

That was the case with his cousin, who always seemed to feel anxious and stubborn while confronting her and would do his best to avoid her at all costs.

Long Cheng's avoidance and indifference were something that made Han Lu very impatient and unforgiving. She had become a nuisance and would grab every opportunity to be around Long Cheng.

She wanted to be Long Cheng's official mate, political mate, to the point of making sure that the other candidates would have unforeseen accidents.

With that being said, Long Jun could not say how Han Lu could take it when she learned that Long Cheng had already found his true mate.

'She would surely go on a rampage,' Long Jun silently concluded. For him, it was fine to dream as long as you would wake up to reality sooner or later.

Despite that, Long Jun also wanted to know how Lu Meili would react regarding the competition since she seemed to be running away from Long Cheng. Would she fight for her right? Or would she not care enough and cut their mating bond?

Since Long Cheng was not the type to act logically, Long Jun still wanted to guess future possibilities for his cousin, just in case he knocked at his door and bothered him. Some love to disturb his line of thought couldn't be a bad thing.

"Wait! Where are you taking her? Is Prince Cheng there?" Han Lu urgently asked as she chased after Long Jun's group.

Clenching his teeth to calm himself down, Long Jun answered, "Lady Lu, your question is out of hand. We will follow the protocols for the outsider, and she will be placed in an appropriate prison. No need to waste your time asking that." He said with indifference, completely ignoring her question regarding his cousin.

"How about Prince Cheng, where is he?" she asked dementedly. "I need to-Ah!" Han Lu suddenly screamed because something fell on her head. Something furry and bloody…
