After sailing for days we ended up coming upon something very interesting. In the sonar from the ship, we were able to detect an extremely large object still beneath us at the ocean floor. Grinning at Adonis, I said, "Last one there owes the other one a favor!" Laughing mischievously, I dove into the ocean without hesitating and rapidly swam in the direction of the blip from the sonar reading back aboard the yacht. Before long, I made it there and felt my jaw dropping. It was an entire city lost beneath the ocean! In the middle of nowhere! This goes above and beyond epic, this is legendary right here! What if this hasn't been discovered yet, and we are the first explorers to enter the lost underwater city? Then again.. What if its a city of merfolk? Either way, we need to take a closer look and Adonis has finally caught up with me. Before long everyone else joined us in the water, as none of us need oxygen to live and we can handle the pressure of the oceans depths.
Grouping up, I used my telepathy skill and told everyone to follow me. Swimming down closer to the southern side of the city, we came upon a gate embedded with over a dozen gigantic pearls and with two guardian statues of merfolk guarding the entrance. These statues each had to be about 100 feet tall. This is incredible! It seems we either found an abandoned city that worshipped merfolk, or we found a very city of merfolk themselves! Getting closer to the gate, I applied strength into my arms and slowly but steadily began to open the door. With everyone following behind me, I led the way into a gigantic town square of which there were many houses ringing around the edges in an oval shape. At the center of the square was what appeared to be a gigantic altar with a spike that was about twenty feet tall sticking out of the center. This was clearly a sacrificial altar, and clearly the sacrifices were humanoid. After all isn't this the classic burned at the altar sacrifice? I mean this city may be under water now, but I bet it was once a part of an island or continent before sinking into the depths of the ocean.
Deciding that it might be safe for us to split up into pairs, I led Jelia away as Adonis went with Matrix and Shinji and Yusuke of course paired up. Jelia and I decided to go explore the north side of the city while everyone else split into the other cardinal directions. After swimming for about 2,000 meters, Jelia and I chanced upon an incredible scene. The city isn't abandoned! It's frozen in time! We found people stopped mid motion trying to run away from something unseen, and yes I mean run. They weren't exactly human, because they stood at about 9 feet tall, however everything else about them looked to be human. There were young looking girls that stood over 6 feet tall and gigantic 9 to 10 feet old men standing before them blocking something from getting to them. There were small little boys that were about 7 feet tall standing with the girls and were holding swords in their hands that were of a glowing faint blue color. What an incredible find. What happened to this civilization? The people are stuck in time and stuck underneath the ocean. Maybe in my travels around the world, I will find answers and maybe be able to save these people if they are victims or ensure their eternal imprisonment if they are evil. As we continued throughout the city, the scenes were pretty much the same. Millions of people were frozen still in time deep beneath the ocean. Shaking like a leaf before my aura calmed me down, I lead Jelia back to the town square where we separated from everyone and we found them all with the same faces of shock as the two of us.
Everyone told their stories of what was found and we were able to get a rough idea of what happened here. At some point in the ancient past, this civilization went to war with a more powerful enemy and the enemy had a god of time on their side who sealed them in a perpetual endless time freeze. This is the conclusion that we all came to. It gave me the chills just thinking that there was a god out there with such a power, however Adonis spoke in a whisper, "Kronos. It has to be. Only that fiend has such catastrophic control of time. He is the God of Destiny and Time after all." Shocked by Adonis revelation, we all began to think deeply and were convinced that Adonis theory was the most likely one after all. Now that we finished exploring this city, which we will call City of Lost Time, we made our way back up to the yacht and I made sure to save this GPS point in my phone and my systems mapping in order to come back here in the future. All in all, this trip to the Bermuda Triangle is turning out to be one hell of an adventure already. The question is, what other long lost secrets await us on the way? What perilous monsters will seek our very lives.?
