Unlike Dream

Aya rolled on her bed after finish washed up. She takes a look at the ancient book. Each of its pages were full of content, some of it only have picture.

The old book have faint musty smell, it reminds her of the scent when morning dew touched the tree and the fragrance from the leaves when it's almost rotten at the ground.

The unseen world was once a part of this world. Its a place where no mannerism needed and simply strength and ability was matter. Its a world where creatures and living things, mystical and supernatural exist.

Aya flipped over the page slowly, she want to read it but for now she just thinking of going through the book first.

She felt her eyes getting heavier and she yawn few times, yet her hand still flip the page one by one. The words getting hard to read and the image becomes blurry.

"I wonder if I can read it without reading it"

She cant helped and keep yawn. Her head getting lower and lower, finally it reached the mattress. The soft and warmth from the bed get her eyes closed.

Aya opened her eyes and looked around. She was standing in the middle of a forest. She was surrounded by trees and she could hear a river was flowing near her. The bird chirping and the sun heat touched her skin lightly.

When did she walked into the forest? She heard a noise coming from the trees. Something moved and she noticed a man sitting beside her. Aya shakes her head trying to remember if anything occur while she was reading.

The man can't see her, yet he was intensely looking behind the tree in front of them. Aya want to ask what was happening, when open her mouth she cant hear her own voice. She try screaming and stomping her feet.

Still there was no changes, the man still cannot hear him. Aya gave up and followed the man. She saw what the man just saw. As now Aya sitting next to him, she can see the man look terrified, his face darkened and something creeping him out.

They saw how two creatures was gnawing an adult man. The corpse were on a wooden table. Half of its body covered big leaf. The head barely attached, his hand was being chewed.

The pungent smell coming from the dripping blood filled Aya's nose. She covered her mouth. Her body shaking and she cries in her head.

The man takes out a feather and a thin bark. He was writing on it, he was scribbling in silent and his hand moved like a painter on their precious canvas.

The thin bark only a piece but he was writing on without stopping. Aya look carefully and she realizes the ink just disappeared when he waved his hand above it.

Aya look closely to each word, she didn't recognize those languages but she could understand the picture he drew.

A pair of non-human creature was eating a man while he was still alive. It was less scary and nasty compared to the real life.

"It's one of the pages I saw from the book."

Aya pinched her cheek, thinking to wake herself from this dream. She didn't feel the pain, she tries to bite her hand and she still can't feel it.

"I am inside the book. I am reading this book without reading it. How nice, that's why there saying goes… be careful of what you wished for"

Aya almost pulled out all her hair. She let out a heavy sigh and the man stop drawing. He put it inside something that Aya thought was a leather bag.

The man carefully moved and walk away as fast as he can. Aya followed him, its been in rough journey. The way he dressed, Aya could tell that they were in some ancient times.

"It's alright, what could go more weird than any of this. I wish I could ask Zaden to appear. At least I won't be bored"

Aya almost lost her mind, her world turned disrupted more and more. She raised her hand, thinking on push the branches that almost hit her face. But it get through her face.

"Ohh… at least I will never get hurt inside this I don't know what to call"

The man finally arrived to a small hut. A smoke coming out from a chimney. The hut surrounded by green bushes and the hut was covered by few tall and big pine tree.

"Hidden small hut…"

Aya want to follow the man to get inside the hut, but she was startled by a sudden appearances of a man standing in front of the door calling out the man inside the hut.

"Your Majesty… it is time for you to go back into the castle."
