File 6: Silicon Brutalness (Part 3)

Okay, never thought there will be a part 3 in the first place, so it comes to me there might be part 4, hooray...

Anyways, recap, before, the group with Mouri Tantei is solving the murder case, and we know now Rei Hiro (Rei first name, Hiro last name, and I have never thought Hiro was Furuya-san's childhood friend Hiromitsu's nickname) is Chiharu's cousin.

Things will become complicated, as we check out the other side of the story, follow the group where Furuya-san, Rei, Nide, Yagashira-san and Aoi-chan's side of things. Introducing the new character in Holmes of Kyoto...

-----

Before the police come...

Nagisa's class, Rei, Nide, Amuro, Yagashira and Aoi come out of the museum, meeting a crowd outside of the court in front of the building. The obvious thing people will do is to go and take a look at what the hell in the middle of the fuzz is about, and they did. They squeeze into the crowd, and there was a man, standing in the centre of the bunch, searching for people. He wears black, Japanese style clothes, bald.

Yagashira grits his teeth and breath, "Ensho."

He never imagines that Rei overheard him, just by his side. She looks at him, and asks, "May I ask you a question?" "What is it?" "Do you know this guy? Is he called Ensho?" "Yes, he's a scammer with great artistry, but he uses his talent on creating counterfeit. But a fake is still a fake."

At that, he shots Ensho a glare of dislike.

Yagashira didn't notice, but Rei's left eye colour, under her black bangs, turns from blue to golden, glowing under the shades made by the hair. "My, my. That look has some deep jealousy and also some hatred under and within." She closes her eyes, and then open it, the eye goes back to normal. Yagashira didn't notice that slight change, "What-How did you-" "I'll ask Amuro-san if I can participate in this little competition." Rei changes her tone. They then hear the calls of Ensho, "Who is brave and wise enough to take a risk and try to tell the difference of the artefacts?" A student in Nagisa's class whispers, "What the hell? That is so difficult! He literally made the two identical!" Nagisa shooshes him, and watch the people around.

Rei turns to Amuro and asks about this event. "If you can tell the difference, you can. I never know you have a good knowledge of these ancient artefacts." "I have my tricks and skill."

Rei turns back to Yagashira, "Sir, I will take this guy down, with the eye of truth." "Be careful though, he is a great copier, and once in the conversation, you have no turning back." "Don't worry, I have my specialities." was her reply. Then she raises her hand.

"Was that a hand of a volunteer? Ah! Come here, young lady!" Ensho shouts, "You have some great nerves!" "Cut the chase, sir, let's get to the action part," Rei says calmly with a smile, an innocent smile though hides something underneath, a mystery that no one has solved. The shoes click every step she takes.

Amuro, or Furuya, knows what that is, the formation of attack.

Nagisa reads the wave lines. The wave line is unusually calm. She has the potential of an assassin. What is she doing here? Nagisa thought.

"Well, sure, lady. But if you destroy the wrong one, you have to pay the price. It" Ensho shows the different artefacts on the table. They are paired up beforehand.

Nagisa watches closely at Rei. Then he sees something that is fishy about her eye. As if it's a hallucination, her left eye changes colour from blue to golden. What is that?*

She looks into the artefacts with concentration. Then, with her hand, she picks up some of them and bashes them to the ground, coloured piece scatters across the floor.

People gasp. Ensho smirks.

"What makes you do that? What's a difference?"

Everyone looks at Ensho, then at Rei. Rei gives a confident smile, the golden disappears. "Well, as a matter of fact, it's part instinct, part hunch, and a bit part of knowledge." She pauses, then adds, "In fact, sir, the percentage of me using knowledge is 0.1 per cent. Rest is hunch and instinct." The crowd looks back at Ensho.

"You have bashed all of them, except one."

"Oh, sir, you know, I can read minds. Don't you dare try to fool me around." Rei says with passion.

"Really? Prove it."

"Well, that sir over at the far corner, the light blue haired sir, he is thinking about a bizarre situation he had seen. I believe his name is... Nagisa Shiota."

Her eye flashes golden in that second. Nagisa knows now. The truth, memories and thoughts can be seen by that eye. The power is stronger than he expected. "Yes. That was exactly what I was thinking. And my name is Nagisa Shiota." "Marvelous, young lady. Then there is no fooling around. You got them all correct. Amazing skill you have with your instinct." Ensho, looking a bit unimpressed, says. "Well, it's just me with my specialities," Rei says calmly.

Just then, the sirens ring.

While everyone is distracted, Ensho runs off and disappears.

Everyone here wants to know what happened, seeing the police trotting into the museum.

"Holmes-san, what is happening?" Aoi asks. "It seems like the situation has gotten a lot worse than last time." Yagashira answers, "A crime has occurred." "Then we should help the police solve the case." "You will see the ugliest things in the world," Yagashira says with a serious tone. No one noticed as Yagashira, Aoi, Rei, Nide and Furuya sneaks into the crime scene.

-----

Okay, I am just going to tell you I have spent more time on this chapter because one, there are more characters, two, i do not want to spoil some parts of the fourth story too much, and three, there was an accident where I accidentally deleted my previous work so I have to start over again. I know. Life is complicated.

Then again, my mission is to get over with the next part about the case being solved, and go to file 7. This is going to be a long time til we get to a mature part of the story, about 5-6 files away. Using my math knowledge, every chapter is about 1000 something to 2000 something words, so bare with me, you have to wait.

*:Mystery to clarify in the fourth book, connecting to the first book.

I started too much books in the first place, so yeah. Connections everywhere.

Thank you for reading this story, though. Love you guys.

Just asking, guys, help me with a decision. We are almost half way through the book. Tell me this: Do you think I should make Naruto/Boruto series connect to the universe of PJO? Because this also kinda connects to it. Please comment on this, I really want an answer.

Thank you, sorry, and goodbye, I guess.

Til next update!
