Chapter 64: Tang Ya Fights

"Is she here?" A middle aged man with a scar over his left eye, wearing a black robe, asked the shop owner as he entered the shop together with a dozen men behind him.

The shop owner, Wenshin Zhan, nodded nervously. "Yes, she's here. But I must warn you, she's not alone. There's a young man with her who seems to have a quite powerful background."

The scar-faced man frowned. "Do they know who we are?"

Wenshin Zhan shook his head. "I don't believe so. As of right now, they're obliviously looking at the secret products in my back room."

The man faintly narrowed his eyes at the shop owner before turning towards the back room door. "For your sake, she better be the girl we're looking for and that this boy won't bring us any problems."

"Ah, yes, yes." The shop owner nervously rubbed his hands.

"Brother Feng, bringing us along is a bit too much don't you think?" A slender handsome man said, walking up to Feng's side.

A chubby middle aged man with a balding spot walked up, nodding, and said. "Yeah. No matter how much of a spiteful bitch she is, in the end, she's just some fifteen year old with a trash martial soul Blue Silver Grass."

These two standing on each side of Feng was his blood brothers and the two Soul Elders in the group. In this kind of remote village with such strength in one group, they were practically the rulers. However, their true identity and strength were not known to the common people of the village, for no one has the courage and right to know.

The Ironblood Sect might look good in the surface of the big cities but they were tyrants to the weak, as shown as when they took over their once allied sect Tang Sect headquarters and ruled over some remote villages.

Feng snorted and replied. "Of course I'm not afraid of her but the people she has. Did you forget the main reason why the sect master isn't actively hunting her down but only sent out wanted posters that wants her alive?"

The two looked confused for a moment before the slender handsome man widened his eyes in realization. "Shrek Academy!" he said, gasping.

Feng nodded just as everyone around him started mumbling to each other, stunned and nervous.

That's to be expected because Shrek Academy is the undisputed number one organization in the continent! It was rumoured they had the both quantity and quality of Titled Douluos in the academy, and that wasn't adding the numerous powerful alma mater they have scattered all across the continent that have no doubt hold strong positions in the Three Douluo Empires.

The Ironblood Sect was just a low tier level sect, their sect master is a soul emperor without a single ten thousand year soul ring! Feng himself was an elder of the sect. They're just starting to become a mid tier level sect after they overthrew the Tang Sect headquarters.

But everything they have would be gone in a split second if Tang Ya, the final remnant of Tang Sect, actually manages to convince Shrek Academy to destroy them!

Everyone who is anyone in the Douluo Continent knew what kind of relationship the Tang Sect has with Shrek Academy. The only reason the Ironblood Sect Sect Master attacked Tang Sect at the time was because he heard it from some source he had that the academy wouldn't interfere with anything less than a world war because they are a "school".

It's quite pathetic really, the most powerful organization in the world is afraid to make themselves look bad in public that they would not only decline expanding and limiting their staff members, but they wouldn't even go further into helping their ally.

Feng pitied the girl. Not only did she lose a home, but she even had to go beg on the organization that could've done something for her family and home.

Some people might argue that the academy shouldn't have any responsibilities on helping the Tang Sect, it was its own organization after all.

But then there's one indisputable fact, the Academy wouldn't have continued existing this long if it weren't for the sect and its first sect master.

At the very least, they could've chased away the Ironblood Sect away from the Tang Sect headquarters but what did they do? They sent a kid and some of his bodyguards to just go save the final Tang Sect member.

"Tch, tch. Selfish bastards." The chubby man said, shaking his head.

"Aren't we all?" The slender man snorted.

"Yeah. But we're just looking out for our own interests. They're supposed to be the beacon of justice and hope for all soul masters in the continent. The holy land for soul masters," Feng said with disdain.

The group of men followed Feng as he walked towards the back room, their footsteps echoing through the empty shop.

Suddenly, the door of the back room was abruptly opened up and a young man wearing a dark trench coat and a dark-blue fedora on his head walked in, with a female wearing a black cloak with purple lining.

The moment Tang Ya came out, every eyes of the Ironblood Sect member in the room lit up.

The Ironblood Sect Master had sent out wanted posters for Tang Ya, giving out a thousand gold soul coins for those who manages to capture her, a hundred for those who can provide useful information about her and a secret 1,500 gold soul coins who can secretly dispose of her!

"Oh, are these your VIP clients shop owner?" Huo Yuhao casually asked, acting as if he didn't notice the dark and sinister looks the men in front of him had.

'One Soul Ancestor, two Soul Elders, five Soul Grandmasters while the other four are just some regular thugs, probably meat shields in case Tang Ya has some of the poisonous explosive hidden weapons in hand.' Huo Yuhao said to himself, quickly analyzing the strength of their opponents.

Unnoticed by everyone, Huo Yuhao's eyes flashed a cold blue light and the entire front of the shop and in the backroom door is completely encased in thick Ultimate Ice crystals; making it impossible for anyone besides him to escape the building now.

The shop owner, who was standing in the far back of the Ironblood Sect group, shivered for a moment, thinking nothing of it, and said to both Huo Yuhao and Tang Ya with a strained smile. "I'm sorry dear customers but, these well distinguish gentlemen wanted some very, very rare materials."

"Oh? Are the rare materials you're talking about in the backroom?"

"No, the one we want is standing right behind you." Feng coldly interjected before the shop owner could reply. He turned towards Tang Ya with a wide grin on his face. "Hello miss Tang, it's been a long time."

"What are you talking about?" Huo Yuhao angrily asked, protectively raising his right arm up before Tang Ya.

Before Feng could say anything, the chubby guy interrupted him by holding his right shoulder and whispered:

"Psst, hey bro. You sure we could mess with them now? Didn't you say that the person beside the girl might be someone important from Shrek?! Can we really mess with them now? What if there's some powerful hidden bodyguards?"

"What do I look like, stupid like you? I've seen that young master's face beforehand and trust me, this guy here ain't him."

"You sure? Cause, you said that the guy was a pretty boy but also a bit masculine. And this guy here fits the description... Damn. He looks so much more handsome than me!"

"Oh for fucks sake! I know a face, when I see a face!"

As the three brothers argue with one another, Huo Yuhao was communicating with Tang Ya.

"Alright, Teacher Ya. This is a chance for you to take your first step in revenge."

Tang Ya sharply inhaled and nodded, silently brandishing out several sharp knives under her sleeves.

"Okay. I've locked all exits in this building, there's no way for them to escape. Think your Blue Silver Grass can cover this much space?"

Tang Ya nodded in confirmation.

"Good. Now, I'll leave everything to you." Huo Yuhao lowered his fedora, the atmosphere around him turning incredibly chilly just as Tang Ya's eyes flashed purple and soul power surged out of her body.

"...I'm telling you that–Wait a second, did it get colder all of a sudden?"

Feng's eyes narrowed and he turned towards his targets with a serious expression. "Everybody, release your martial souls–!"

Two white, one yellow and one purple soul rings emerged under his feet with a sabre in his right hand with a mystical orange glow along its edge.

He had just barely finished his words when dozens of thick, thorny blue silver grass vines burst out of the ground and wrapped around the Ironblood Sect members, immobilizing them in an instant. The room was filled with startled gasps and struggling as the men tried to break free from the powerful grip of Tang Ya's Blue Silver Grass.

Huo Yuhao watched calmly, his ice blue eyes glinting with amusement. He didn't join in on the fun, merely looking on with crossed arms and his back against the wall.

"Die!"

Tang Ya charged into the Ironblood Sect group with ferocious determination, slashing her sharp knives at the immobilized regular men, including the shop owner.

"W-Wait! Miss Tang, have mercy! Please! I-I have a family–"

Blood splattered across the room as she executed her vengeance with precision, ending the lives of each Ironblood Sect member with ruthless efficiency.

"Damn you girl! You think this could hold us!?" Feng roared, his soul power surging, causing the thorny blue silver grass vines to shake and tremble. His third soul ring lit up, the sabre's blade was lit up in fiery flames and immediately burnt the vines surrounding him into ashes.

His two blood-brothers were behind him. The chubby guy had two purple flaming daggers in his hands, three soul rings surrounded him; three white, the purple flames quickly burned the Blue Silver Grass binding him.

As for the slender handsome man, he held a flaming scimitar with a red handle. Just like his chubby brother, he had three soul rings; two white and one yellow. The flames on his scimitar flickered and burned away the blue silver grass that held him captive.

Tang Ya stood resolute, her eyes cold and determined as she faced the three brothers.

"You three..." She raised her dark knives laced with extreme poison across its edges. "You were there when that man killed my parents!"

Feng's eyes widened in surprise. "You... you know about that?" he stammered.

Tang Ya's voice was filled with venom. "Yes, I know everything. And I will make sure you pay for what you did."

Feng sneered, his flames flickering dangerously. "You think a little poison is going to stop us? I'm a Soul Ancestor of the Ironblood Sect! I'm far more powerful than you!" He clearly noticed the three optimal soul rings around Tang Ya and was confident.

With him and his brothers, killing this girl is going to be easy!

'The problem however, is that guy.' He glanced at the laidback Huo Yuhao.

Huo Yuhao noticed his gaze and waved with a smile.

'I'm gonna kill him!' Feng grew infuriated.

Without saying a word, Tang Ya lunged forward, her knives slashing through the air as they all precisely headed straight to each of the brothers' vital spots.

They all of course tried to block the knives with their martial souls but a strange force seemed to make their weapons heavier, just as the knives hit them, a ringing sound was heard and most of them had bounced off.

Unfortunately for one of them, the slender one, one of the knives had successfully pierced into his forehead.

"No! Second brother!!" The chubby guy cried out in horror.

"This is... One of the Tang Sect's secret techniques, Controlling Crane, Catching Dragon!" Feng shouted in disbelief, quickly recognizing the Tang Sect secret techniques.

Suddenly, a tightening feeling began to appear all over his body. He looked down to see numerous blue flowers blooming across his body and thick blue silver grass vines began binding his body.

He looked up to see Tang Ya approaching them with her second soul ring light up.

"...Do you feel it? The pain. That anger? That hatred? The despair one seeing your loved one murdered before yoyr eyes?" Tang Ya slowly said, a bloodthirsty red glint flashed across her eyes.

"That's a fraction of what I had felt when your leader took my parents' lives and our home. As part of his little flock, I'll make you all feel this feeling of despair even more before you join your brother and your men."

AN: Hi everyone. So, bad news. My phone had drowned in water, thankfully it could still be powered on. Unfortunately however, I can't access into the webnovel app for some reason. My phone is what I'm using to write. I don't use laptops or computers to write because it messes up the spacings for some reason. So if this appears without any, that's because I'm using one right now. I'll try and fix my phone soon, I hope.
