Escaped ch.5

The woman backed away as I looked the other way I saw Winston tied up. I tried to run toward him, but the man grabbed me. It was my father. I looked at him, my eyes filled with tears. I struggled to get to Winston, I bit his hand. I felt myself drop to the floor. "Why are you doing this!" I said in a tempered tone. "Oh dear...it's because your mother cheated on me...to have a powerful child." The man said(my father) "Welp, she didn't get what she wanted. She got a mutt." I replied. "Oh son, why are you being so mean to your father? I'm trying to help you...end your pain." He looked at me with a fake smile of sympathy. "Help? pft, don't call me son, I don't declare you as a father, and like i'm in pain..." I replied sternly. I felt something hit against my face, it was a hand, my cheek stung. The woman and man left, so I ran toward Winston. He was crying as I saw blood gushing from his head. " What did they do to you!?!" I asked in a stern worried tone. "They beat me up because I didn't answer a question..." He replied. I licked the blood off his face and untied him. "It's cold in here and there's a breeze, so there's a vent in here." We both stood up and looked for something. "Hey Shun, I found a way out!" I ran over toward Winston. "I hear them, they're coming open it quick!" We opened a vent and went through, closing it behind us. I heard them screaming and yelling. We went through the vent quickly and found a way into a room. we went through a sewer pipe which lead outside. I saw my dog outside, I ran toward him as he was covered in blood. I carried him as me and Winston ran to the vet. We barged in and the an employee working there showed us to a room and told us that it would be best to leave and come back later. "Should we head to the hospital first or the police?" Winston asked. I was silent for awhile, my head down. Tears falling down my cheeks then falling down to the cement. I look up at him and replied, "The police first...". We ran toward the police station, and told them what happened and showed them where the place was. I still had tears in my eyes as the police went in. We had to stay behind the police car as the flashing lights of blue and red reached out blinding people. The ambulance came to us and bandaged us up. Then the police came out with all the people in the building, the last person that was taken out was my "father". "You peice of shit, I will get my revenge on you and your mother!" What he said made the officer angry "You wont get any revenge, you've done many crimes and you will have your last breath in prison." The officer said in a stern voice. I got a call from the Vet that I'd need to head back immediately. I ran hard and strong to the Vet to hear something I didn't want to here. To Be Continued...
