An unknown place and a curious creature.

Alex's and the creature's eyes were fixed on one another which made the situation a little uncomfortable, but only on Alex's part the creature on the other hand seemed curious and without hostile intentions despite being clearly armed.

"...." Silence completely dominated both and neither made a move for a period until Alex decided to try to slowly move away from the creature.

The creature in response took a step forward while Alex took a step backward with the intention of moving away, the situation in a nutshell seemed to get nowhere, but something caught alex's attention at the time.

The creature was very similar to a creature Alex had drawn in his book a long time ago called Eughul, the cunning little goblin.

Alex still had his book in his hand, so he decided to quickly look for the page where Eughul's drawing was supposed to be, but to his surprise the page was there, but not the monster's drawing wasn't there, he could only find Eughul's description and behavior, something Alex had also created.

Eughul basically came from being an ancestor of the green goblins that abounded in fantasy lands, Alex created this goblin with the intention of making it unique, which was able to create tools with anything at hand and was also able to create healing balms and use different magic spells to defend or heal, Eughul's grayish skin tone was caused by the fact that, Alex, placed the home of Eughul on a cave which was near an active volcano which was constantly releasing smoke which ended up covering everything, including Eughul.

As the years passed Eughul was constantly covered with the ash that released the volcano turning his skin a rock gray tone which he took advantage quickly using it to camouflage between rocks and any surface that had the same color, there is the origin of the nickname "The little cunning goblin".

Alex at the time could not believe that one of the beings he had created was in front of him, breathing and moving, although the situation was very confusing because the creature did not present a hostile attitude against Alex, but he also did not want to risk contact with him.

"...hello?" Alex decided to try to break the ice between the two and decided to talk.

"....Grrrr..." Eughul simply responded with a short grunt, something to be expected from a creature like him. A solitary hunter who had no knowledge of speech due to the solitary place where he lived where he stayed away from the other goblins that usually lived in large groups.

"I guess... I should have specified some language in you after all." Alex said in a low voice regretting not having given some kind of knowledge to Eughul.

Eughul seemed to have understood what Alex said and raised his pointy ears and ran into the woods.

"...at least I can calm down now." Alex said watching as Eughul disappeared into the forest, though his calm didn't last long.

Eughul returned after a few seconds with a small branch and a kind of rabbit with blue and black fur, throwing it in front of Alex.

The poor animal was undoubtedly dead, its neck was broken and its stomach was open showing the viscera inside of it.

Eughul for some strange reason brought the body of a possible animal from the area to Alex, possibly with the intention that he would feed on it, since Eughul's basic diet consisted of several unprocessed meats and fruits in the areas that he hunted constantly, but this behavior was not assimilated to that Alex had, so he decided to reject the meat in a gentle way. Doing so in a gentle way would probably prevent Eughul from getting angry because someone refused a gift he had made, that's what Alex was thinking at the time, but he never specified Eughul's behavior in his book so it was strange for Alex to find this behavior.

"..." Alex took the animal in a delicate way and when he lifted the animal's guts came out of his body and were suspended even though they were connected to the animal's body.

Blewwghhh!

This immediately caused Alex to vomit and Eughul to lower his ears in surprise, causing him to run into the forest again.

"God..." Alex threw the animal's body away from him being splashed by the blood and body fluids from it and sat trying to catch his breath after he had vomited, but for several minutes the feeling of wanting to vomit appeared and disappeared until his stomach completely calmed down.

Eughul had disappeared completely leaving Alex alone again so this gave him time to review the book and found that all the pages were red due to the blood from the accident. Extremely Alex could not find himself in his body any wound or scar, it is as if nothing had ever happened.

The book contained each and every one of the drawings that Alex had made over the years, although they were only those that were finished, the book in question was a black leather cover book which was modified making it fatter than the common books, since Alex had preferred a book in which he could draw and store all his drawings at once, instead of using a common notebook.

Alex felt some discomfort in his throat as he was turning page after page and found that there was a strange object in his neck, something that surrounded his neck and seemed to have no way to be removed. A metal necklace which was firmly attached to the neck.

Going to panic at that time was not a good idea so staying sane and thinking was the best idea available.

Grumble

Grumble

Although it would be very difficult to think on an empty stomach at the time.

The sound of Alex's stomach was heard loud and clear and a strange round yellow object fell to the ground until it.

Looking up at the treetops, Alex could see Eughul eating something that looked identical to the one at Alex's feet.

The object in question was very similar to a peach, though hairless and its consistency was very soft, so soft that the simple fact of having it in one's hand could feel as if one was squeezing a pillow.

Alex didn't realize he was squeezing too much until he felt the juice of the yellow object drip between his fingers.

"Uhhgg?...what the hell is this?" Alex said. Watching Eughul eat the strange and possible fruit without even stopping to think about it, Alex decided to give in to his hunger and taste some of the fruit's liquid.

The almost intoxicating taste of the fruit, its sweetness and the soft texture of it caused alex's mind to enter a strange state, everything around it began to spin and the surrounding colors began to distort and its surroundings began to spin, the fruit in question possessed a hallucinogenic effect that seemed to be loved by Eughul.

The hallucinogen effect lasted a long time in which Alex was lost and out of himself, unable to know where he was at that moment, the only option that came to his mind at that moment was to sit against a tree and wait for the effect to disappear.

Alex blinked several times watching as he was dragged by Eughul, blink after blink everything changed until his consciousness completely disappeared.

Again it was all silence and peace. For the moment.
