That was the time when Nathalie and Susan went for shopping, then right after, they headed back to Susan's place and was chit chatted for a while.

"Hmm. so excited how Michael feels right after I'll give him this kind of surprise. I just want him to be more happy in my sake."

"Yeah right. I left behind again. Sweetheart day of course."

"Susan don't be like that!. Of course you have yours too..I bought this as I noticed you the last time..I know you really like it so..this is for you."

Nathalie bought to give her the beautiful casual dress since this kind of styles are all Susan's fashion. They're best as friends since high school and they loved their own similarities in many aspects of their routines.

"Oh my God! You're really such an adorable! Thank you so much bestie! You're the best of all the best..I like it so much!!"

Nathalie felt priceless the way how her bestie reacted with such an immeasurable happiness.

"Hmm you deserve it since you're the only person who can understand me with my foolishness in so many ways. Hahaha..hope you'll never get tired of understanding me at all times."

"Well..do I have a choice?" Susan teased her.

"Idiot! You're really sucks! You're so mean. Haha."

They're both happy together. Their friend relationship was almost perfect but without knowing there's the biggest revelation waited ahead.

"How about your engagement to that Montefalco?"

"Oohh..that arrogant CEO..maybe I can manage about that. Mom and dad always hear me out when it comes about my own decisions. Besides, his grandpa has the only one who wants this engagement so far, my parents were still not give them the final answer. So I still have my own hope."

"Yeah! As always .. we're partners in Crime!" Susan was agreed.

"by the way..I have to go now. I must have to take my beauty rest early since tomorrow is our big day."

finally, Nathalie used to say goodbye.

"well..is there anything I can do to not letting you go!? Seems like you're totally excited having a date tomorrow huh."

"Of course! that'll be our 2nd anniversary. Another successful year of being together you know. Maybe you can also feel what I felt when you'll gonna have yours too sooner..ayeee."

"Hmm..I think..that's not gonna happen. I'm totally hopeless in that thing. I already had embraced my fate that there's really nobody destined for me. I already got my self ready in case I was born just to be alone sooner or later." Susan said with kind of pity.

"Is that kind of joke? Don't say that ok? That's not gonna happen! I'm here! Did you forget me? Idiot.!"

Then they laughed together as that joy has always been prevailed in between. Nathalie finally drove herself a car just for her to heading back home, while Susan left behind and get in to her room. When suddenly, Michael has popped up that made Susan freaked out.

"You bastard! What are you doing here?"

"Don't you miss me? I really missed you so bad Susan..uhmm"

he hurriedly hugged Susan tight and kissed her wildly,until they both fell in the bed that made them act crazy.

"Oh my God Michael..ugh... you're too wild!! You surprised me a lot! Hmm..did Nathalie doesn't gave you this kind of pleasure?ahh.. Then you can have mine..ohh..be gentle.."

Susan groaned as she felt like she's at heaven.

on the other hand, Nathalie left her purple plamage in Susan's place. That should be her gift to her mother. She badly needs to take it back since she'd promised to her mom that she'll give her this as a kind of surprise.

"Damn!. turning back again. I left it because of this poor mind-set. Signs of aging sucks.. hoho. Thanks. It isn't yet too far.."

when she arrived..and about to knocked, she suddenly noticed the door it's a little open.

"What a careless woman! She didn't even checked the door knob. What if somebody's taking advantage of her, she definitely put at risk."

Then she saw the purple plamage on the table and put it in the bag.

She's calling out Susan the entire place but nobody gave her an answer.

"Oh my God! I feel so bad right now. The door is open and..oh no! Could it be a thief? and Susan...oh God!. Let me check on her room maybe she's now asleep.. I hope I'm just overthink this wrong intuition."

But surprisingly, when she opened the door, she's been freaking out what she saw. It was like the whole world fell on her that made her entire body to insanity and was about to lose her strength that everything on her turned into darkness..

"Oh my God! Michael?..Su..Susan?!how could you do this to me?" She desperately in an anger side that almost drove her crazy.

Susan's got up quickly and fix herself while same as Michael too. Nathalie went down and exhausted.

"Nathalie! Let me explain! I'm sorry! I..I didn't .."

"How dare you talking me like that! how long you've been fooled me ha Susan?! All my life, I treated you so well for I know that you're my best friend. But is everything was all fake?! You really fooled me like this?! what a disgusted! Both of you are all disgusted!"

"Nathalie babe! I'm sorry.. I.." Michael has about to interfere.

"Stop calling me babe! you bitch! There's no need an explanation. What I saw is enough! Both of you can't fooled me again!....I can't believe this.. My most trusted best friend and my dearly loving boyfriend has undoubtedly cheated me. You both asshole you know that?! You don't deserve me anymore! f**king asshole!"

Susan wept badly with the words that Nathalie has spoke out. How could you swallow your conscience like that when you betrayed your own best friend who had nothing to do but just so good and kind to you?.

"Nathalie..me and your Dad had finally decided. we accepted the Montefalco's proposal. You'll getting be engage with his grandson Charles. hope you can understand sweety." Mrs la Lima said.

"if that could help us to keep our company into such level of high standards, then I'm willing to accept the engagement mom. I know it's for my own sake." Nathalie agreed but it has been showing in her face the unbearable pains and sorrows.

She really can't believe how Susan was being so ruthless. She doesn't even care the true value of friendship. Michael too. They're both selfish as they were. They deserve nothing but despicable and curse.

"You okay?" Charles held her hands as he noticed her eyes in sorrow and out of mind.

"Yeah I'm fine. Maybe I was just meditated too much that's why I almost trapped myself into that memories like a nightmare." Nathalie replied.

"Don't think too much. Whatever the past was that, it something has a purpose for your own good."

"My own good? Really? I bet not. Maybe I'm still breathing now with my body, alive and kicking when that wasn't happened."

"Well..maybe you still been fooled if that's in case."

Nathalie had stopped talking right after Charles told her that way.

"Did he read my mind.? Hmm..well he still got a point .." Nathalie murmured herself.

"By the way, few minutes later, we'll get landing in Africa. This is my last business travel for now. I think after this, I won't be busy anymore. That could be the time I'll help you with your mission. As I promised."

Charles gave her his sweetest smile that made Nathalie blushed and smiled.

"Finally you smiled. You're beautiful as you are." Charles said himself while looking Nathalie in a pleasant way.

"Master.. meeting with Mr. Carter will be tomorrow at 8am at the Jewels Factory. He's the head minners spoke person. And then at 1pm, Blue Oceans ships will be our destination. We have to meet there Mr Quijano for them to release our pending materials which had haven't yet delivered in China."
