Chapter 9 Cassandra's Memories (2)

"The man standing in front of me was the one who had killed the little girl's family, but he was also the dog of one of those who had participated in my capture. I felt like the girl's fire was excellent, so I used the flame to torture his soul. When there was nothing left of it, I felt like the girl's body was lighter. I had fulfilled her desire, and I had revenged her family. I felt my body was already losing power, but suddenly a 14-15 year-old boy appeared next to me and made a shield around me. '' Until the Sentinels arrive, the shield will protect you, '' he told me. Still, I could not be quiet, knowing that if the man I was killing did not report to others, so I decided to hide elsewhere, but I guess the young man next to me was in a coma because the shield took her vital force. Using the power of the earth, I quickly grew a stretcher, and then, controlling the air around me, I climbed up the bar. With the stretcher floating behind me I hid in a secret cave that I had discovered in the darkest place in the forest. I had checked the young man's condition and noticed that he did not have much time. I encoded my own blood into the pill and I had to swallow it. Suddenly I felt very weak and fainted. When I woke up, I was in a bed, and next to the bed was one of the sentries that reported to me everything that had happened since I found myself."
