Fate Can Be So Cruel

I stormed out of Jets room slamming the door open. I should have known it was some rich fuck. I rushed to the entrance of the tea shop. 


The man spying on me and those boys that attacked me last night. I couldn't help but smirk. That stupid fucker is going down for what he has done. Invading my privacy, attacking me when I'm trying to sleep, and causing bodies to drop around me. What the hell is wrong with this guy?


It all makes sense now but the Emperor? Come on what the hell have I done to deserve this? I could hear Jet stomping behind me, "Anya! Wait, where are you going?" Jet demanded grabbing my arm. 


"I'm going to the stupid palace to. ." Jet covered my mouth shutting me up looking around the room before dragging me back to his room. 


I tried to fight him but he had his arm around my waist and his hand over my mouth, pulling me into his broad chest. He was over powering me so easily so I bit his hand in a panic but instead of letting me go he pulled me even tighter into his chest. He wouldn't budge giving me less room to move until we was in his room. He let me go slamming his door shut. 


"What are u doing?!" I yelled at Jet who's head jerked my way looking beyond pissed as he stomped over to me towering over me. 


"I was keeping you alive. You can't make open threats like that and expect everything to be okay. You could have me, Blaze, and yourself killed." Jet whispered dangerously as his eyes darkened with anger. I took a step back in shock at Jet's words. I never once stop and thought I was putting Jet and Blaze in danger. 


Tears started to form at the corner of my eyes, "I'm so sorry Jet I-I wasn't thinking prop. ." Jet cut me off again, "Exactly you wasn't thinking!" Jet yell throwing his hands in the air. The tears started falling when Jet pulled me into his arms kissing the top of my head. 


"I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell and make you cry I was just scared someone would have heard you. I don't know what I would do if something bad happened to you Anya. I need you to be safe so please think before you put yourself in harm's way." Jet eyes were pleading with me practically begging me. 


"Please Anya promise me." Jet said kissing the top of my head again hugging me even tighter. I couldn't even speak so I just nodded my head stiff as a board against Jet hard warm body.


What am I going to do? He is going to continue to send men after me for something so stupid. As much as this sickens me maybe I need to swallow my pride and apologize for Blaze and Jet sake, they never did anything wrong it was all me. It would kill me if something bad happened to them because of something I did. I could run?. . But if I did that, I could still be putting them in danger.


I guess I just made up my own mind. I'll have to find a way to apologize and if that doesn't work well I guess things are going to get real ugly real fast.
