Fight Me Pt 1 (LancexNicole)

Nicole had organised a cooking session with Hunk, as she was always fascinated by the little different ingredients the Yellow Paladin put in her favourite dishes and she wanted to know how to cook like that.

So, as she was walking down the hall towards the dining room, a particular paladin slid across the metal floor and walked along beside her. "Hey, Nicky!"

"Ugh." Nicole rolled her eyes, dreadfully. Whenever she and Lance were in the same room, everything ended the same. The Galra-Altean punching Lance to the floor and Lance groaning in pain. "What do you want?"

"What makes you think I want something?" Lance chuckled, a slight frown slipping into his usually chill expression. "Okay, fine. I wanna know, why do you train with the other paladins and not me? I'm not that bad."

Nicole sighed, resting her hands on the orange belt around her waist. "One, I only train with Keith and Elle." The Galra-Altean scrunched up her nose at the memory of the last time she trained with Isabelle, or as everyone called her Elle. Nicole had been knocked to the ground after Elle had tricked her and turned invisible, giving her the upper hand. "And two, I saw you training with Pidge last week. She's almost half your height man, and she beat you. Seriously, if you want to train with me, you're going to have to do much better."

At this point, Nicole and Lance had stopped in the dining room, the Alteans and the paladins watching the Nance (as Pidge and Isabelle called it) ship roll out. "Hey! I'm perfectly good with my fighting skills at it is, thankyou very much!"

"Well, if you can't even beat a paladin half your height, you mustn't be very good!" Nicole hissed, before storming around the dining table into the kitchen. Lance sighed, slumping down into the chair beside Isabelle.

Shiro raised an eyebrow at the younger paladin as he sat back in his chair across from him. "You know, Elle could help you improve after dinner. She's naturally a great trainer."

"Oh stop it." Isabelle smiled at her fellow leader, then her smile immediately disappeared. "Seriously, don't." The Argonia turned to her teammate beside her. "We can train like, twenty minutes after dinner if you want. May take a while, but it'll be worth it if you want to prove to Nicole you're able to train with her."

Lance's face gleamed with excitement. "Really?! Thankyou, Elle! You're the best!"

"So I've been told." Isabelle giggled, looking across the table at the Black Paladin. Her ship would soon be ready to sail...
