Vulcan

Vulcans are ferocious monsters that live in various areas of Earth Land. They appear to be large, anthropomorphic monsters that resemble primates. They possess distinctive facial features, elongated chins, prolonged ears, and pointed heads that resemble a single horn on top of their head. Vulcans have gargantuan arms and sequentially large hands that attach to their muscular torsos. In comparison to their upper body, Vulcans evidently possess a pair of smaller-scaled legs that feature a long tail connected to the bottom of their torsos. The fur on their arms forms a decorative pattern unique to each species.

Enough of the explanation, the only problem was there wasn't only one Vulcan, but there was more than one, it was 10 of them which appeared in front of them.

"Do you need help? I'll defeat nine of them and you can handle one of them."

Even though Ur wanted him to complete this quest, it was too dangerous when he needed to face this many opponents.

"Alright, I can handle it myself. Don't coddle me too much."

"Then do it. Use your everything to defeat them."

Thinking about his "Water" magic, Ur thought that he wouldn't get hurt by those monsters. She decided to believe in him and let him do the quest, but she would help him when he was almost defeated.

'Coddle him too much, huh?'

Ur thought that Bourne wanted to grow up faster which made her proud somehow, but she had to admit that she might coddle him since she knew that in the future he might grow up and leave her. Thinking about the conversation which they had one year ago, she started to regret training him so hard.

Bourne didn't know what Ur was thinking about since he fully focussed on the opponents in front of him. Even though his body wouldn't be hurt by those monsters and there was Ur as his backing, but he wanted to end those monsters by himself.

He took a deep breath and prepared his magic. "Ice Make Maces!" Two maces appeared on both of his hands, he usually would use an axes, but this time, he didn't have an intention to kill the monsters since he had heard Vulcan usually took over a body of human and transformed them into Vulcan too. If he killed them then it meant that he had killed the villagers who were kidnapped by Vulcan. In this case, he decided to fight it with blunt weapon to knock them out and used a close range combat which he learned in the wild to fight them.

Ur didn't say anything, but her expression changed when she saw him use ice maces on both of his hands since she knew that he was going to defeat those monsters with the most dangerous method considering the magic which he had learned in the past year with her.

"HAHOOOO!!!!"

Those Vulcans hit their chest loudly and looked at Bourne angrily. They felt angry when this shrimp was going to challenge them, but then their eyes became excited when they saw Ur since Ur was a very beautiful woman.

"HAHOOO!!!"

"HAHOOO!!!"

"HAHOOO!!!"

Those Vulcans became excited and the shape of their eyes turned into a heart. They ignored the existence of Bourne, but it was a wrong decision for them.

*Boom!*

Suddenly the snow on the ground scattered which caused the surrounding area to be covered in white curtains. The Vulcans became alert and wondered what had happened since it happened to one of their friends. Then when the scattered snow disappeared, they saw Bourne standing on top of a human male. The human male seemed to be unconscious, but this human male was breathing. This human male was a Vulcan which had been defeated by Bourne and it had returned to being human.

Bourne held his two maces with his feet right on the head of the human male who he had saved. He didn't care about the human male below him, rather he looked at those vulcans with a provoking gaze.

'Come.'

Those Vulcans didn't need to guess what Bourne said and were directly angered by him. They jumped at the same time and raised their two large hands to hammer him. But that attack was too naive since Bourne created a pillar of ice below his feet which elevated him right beside those Vulcans who jumped into the air. Since those Vulcans were in the air, they couldn't move very well, but it was different from Bourne who was standing on the top ice pillar. He didn't give them mercy and smacked them with his maces.

*Baam!* *Baam!* *Baam!*

Bourne's physical prowess was very high. Rather because of Ur's merciless training, he couldn't help but become strong. Ur knew that it was very easy for him to heal his damaged muscle since his body could turn into water. Knowing that, she sometimes doubles or triples his training without hesitation since he wouldn't get hurt no matter what. It was at that moment that he had regretted his choice to tell her all of his power and the magic which he had learned.

Bourne's movement was very fast and the power of his attack was enough to crumble a large stone. One thing that might have been noticeable about his attack was that there had always been steam behind his arm.

That's right, Bourne had added steam to his elbow to add power within his blow. The steam produced behind his elbow created pressure which added a force to each of his blows which gave him immense strength.

With one of those blows, it was enough to knock down those Vulcans who seemed to be very fierce and powerful in front of normal humans, but in front of him, they were as weak as a chick.

If someone saw a six-year-old child massacred 10 Vulcans easily in front of him then they would be shocked. Then this scene somehow made them think of him as a "Little Giant". Within his small body, there was an immense strength which was as powerful as the legendary Giant.

Ur nodded and understood Bourne's strength, but she knew that even though he was powerful, it was his first time to fight against a really strong opponent, but it seemed that she didn't need to worry about it, especially when he had defeated all of those Vulcans.

The steam on his body disappeared and he stretched his body lightly since his joint felt uncomfortable when he used that magic. Even though he could quickly recover it using his "Water' magic, but well, after this, he wouldn't use that magic again.

"How is it? Do you still have magic powers?"

"Yes, don't worry, Ur."

After one year of training, Ur had to admit that Bourne's magical power kept increasing and the day she saw him had a power similar to an S-Class magician wouldn't be long.

"Let's go, Ur. Let's finish this quest first."

Ur nodded and asked, "What are you going to do with those people?" Those Vulcans which had been defeated by Bourne returned back to human and all of them fell on the ground losing their unconsciousness.

Bourne and Ur continued their journey toward the ice mountain and knew that it would be jiffy to complete this quest.
