This is a story of the Wannabe Webnovelist Team (aka WW) who slaved over writing for five years and did not receive a single reader, only to discover that the person responsible for the final edit and publishing in the Wannabe Webnovelist writing team never actually published anything. He had only uploaded everything to the drafts.

Sit back and relax (or not) as you try to figure out which character has written which paragraph or chapter. Not to mention working out how many people are actually in this team - this may fluctuate. The WW team's rules in this novel are that once a chapter has been published, no one in the team can edit it.

(NB: all the characters in this work are fictional and while any resemblance to real life people are not entirely coincidental - no insults are meant. This is a completely tongue in cheek, rubbish piece of nothing. Yes, you read that right. If you find this as nonsensical as the author, then 'high five!' You are on the right page.)

Also, has this story really been discontinued? Wait and see... because if it really has been discontinued, we hope the readers enjoy being left hanging on the cliff edge - or just hanging, cos there's nothing wrong with just hanging about.

WW is on a long break. Who knows if they'll ever get back together or come back (in fact, I doubt they will ever return - I think they've given up). Therefore, you will receive random short stories instead.

This is absolutely discontinuous nonsense

Because I can't be bothered writing about my random webnovelist team and their antics, I am instead putting a bunch of story ideas and stuff here. If you want me to write more on a certain story, let me know and I'll do my best.

I initially intended for this to be a bunch of humourous short stories, however, I am not very good at writing humour. I have to be in the right mood and I am very seldom in the ridiculous mood needed to write such amusing rubbish.

Yes. Rubbish. All the stories are rubbish. Don't you think? They're all just fanciful nonsense that don't improve the lives of anybody, teach anything or do anything meaningful. Hence they are rubbish. Nobody really reads my stuff anyway, so it doesn't matter. I don't care. Writing is therapy and word smithing/crafting practice anyway, so... whatever.

I hope for good quality writing and that people will write with the intent of improving quality reader experience. I would like to achieve the heights of some of the great word smiths who can evoke imagery, emotion, atmosphere and immersion all with one sentence or a few short sentences. But having recently being reading on Webnovel, it has greatly dumbed a lot of my language, even while it has expanded some of my horizons.

I'll have to go back and study the language of some of the great classics in order to refine and evolve my English language skills again after I have finished exploring the land of awful tropes and clichés. Maybe one day I'll be able to craft a masterpiece that isn't just therapy for me. Maybe I'll one day be able to create a masterful story with good purpose.

Until then, we can only continue practising. Onwards we go. Ever onwards. Ever going.
