Training Session II

Meanwhile, as Chloe and George waited for the food, they ordered...

Back in the training hall on the third floor in room 29, a shirtless teen could be seen paralyzed on the floor. After withstanding the pressure of 40 Earths with just his body alone. Which caused numerous blood vessels to rupture, a few fractured bones, and other minor inconveniences.

That could have landed a normal human being a quick flight to the ER, but considering it's Rin, he should be all good after a short nap. Nevertheless, while Rin couldn't manage to reach the height of surviving the pressure of level 100, at least he handled Level 40 somewhat briefly.

So, for now, he must surpass level 40 to achieve Artemis's plan... and with that, let us take a quick rest.

20 minutes later...

"Ugh, just what sort of twisted psychopath... would allow themselves to get injured to such a degree?" Rin complained as he pushed himself up after waking from a brief nap.

If you could call it that, since throughout this agonizing nap, the whimper of an injured puppy could be heard throughout the chamber.

But while excruciatingly painful to undergo with just the body of a True God, there was some merit to Rin's actions. Even though sadly he doesn't have the cultivation of one anymore.

But with time, all things should work in his favor if nothing goes wrong...

Despite Rin wasting a lot of time which left him with an hour and some change, until he was kicked out of the gravity chamber by security.

Creak. Crack. Pop.

"Hmm, surely that can't be me?" Rin muttered after proceeding to stretch to get his blood flowing again, so he could use the remaining time to master level 40.

'Hmm, with just an hour left, that should be enough time to inspect the changes my body underwent while further refining it?' I thought, considering that while I could use the time left to try and tackle a higher level it would be pointless and a waste of time.

Considering, what would come from such an action besides more injuries and being bedridden for a week? And the bragging rights that I survived, a level most students couldn't achieve during their freshman year.

Which sounds fun yet in the end, who will have to bear the consequences of their actions?

"Welp, with but 55 minutes left, let's just try our best and see how far we can go," Rin smiled as he started level 40 again and took another crack at this hurdle.

Ding!

"Freshman Rin, would you like to undergo level 40 again?" A robotic voice said as Rin shouted, "Yes," followed by a short countdown.

"Level 40 Commencing in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... 0!"

"Sigh... as the ancients would say, 'there's no better time than now,' so let's get this party started!" Rin exclaimed as he sat down and got into a lotus position before starting to synchronize his breathing with his heartbeat.

Lub. Dup. Lup. Dup. Lup. Dup

'Hmm, now that's strange... I didn't know body cultivation could increase the durability of meridians,' Rin thought before continuing to peer deeper into the changes his body underwent, which led him to pick up on the progress of Goliath's residue divinity as it assimilated with his body.

A very peculiar and secretive energy that normally Rin wouldn't have been able to perceive. But with Rin taking the time to better understand his body, he was able to take notice of it and realize it was almost fully assimilated with his body.

Which was fast considering how destructive its nature is and the lingering intent it carries from a Cosmic Eldritch God. Who was banished to confinement for Eternity, due to crimes that can't be spoken of lightly lest you warrant the attention of !@#$%^&*?

But anywho, that's a story for another time...

So as Rin continued to analyze his body, he began to see that not only was he better able to withstand the gravity of level 40, but he even had better control of his movements. Along with energy, elemental, and mental control with the addition of a stronger vessel to house the various secrets awaiting to be discovered and unleashed for the world to see.

But the greatest benefit of them all would be discovering just how vital it is to have a strong physique, earlier in your journey when most kids would rather reach higher cultivation ranks than focus on their bodily cultivation.

Which was difficult, dangerous, and way too costly for the average Joe to undertake, even though later it becomes necessary to have a strong physique. Not only to withstand the various tribulations one undertakes when transforming from an Ancestral God to a Mythical Being but to even ward off the attacks of sneaky malevolent spirits.

Nevertheless, while important to know... time was running out, and with that Rin's training session was over.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Yo, kid your time is up, so please step out, and allow someone else to use this chamber! Thank you," A security guard said as a student stood behind him, who just kept quiet and looked at his watch as he waited patiently for Rin to exit.

"I'll be out in a second, give me a minute," I replied as I stood up and put my clothes back on while unsealing my cultivation. Before exiting and making my way toward the cafeteria to get something to eat.

"Sorry for the wait, sir."

"It's fine, at least I didn't have to resort to violence and drag you myself, kid."

"Luckily, you didn't, sir, so have a wonderful day and I wish you an amazing training session," Rin said before leaving as he gave the student who stood behind the security guard a smile.
