"You can't, that's the only thing you can't wish for," said Mary who was blushing.
"Oh, why not? I thought the leader can grant anything?" asked James.
"Because I am already the leader's special property and you have to do more than this to let me be yours."
Mary thought that her statement will let James changed his mind.
"Then what do I need to do to make you mine?" asked James.
But it got even worse.
"Just what do you think by asking me to be yours?" asked Mary who was as red as a tomato.
"Eh," with an innocent face James replied, "Is it that hard to understand. I want you to be by my side."
Mary has exceeded her embarrassed level.
"By the way, why are you so flustered. Shouldn't this request be normal to you by now? I mean there must be plenty of people who want to make this type of request if they have a chance."
"The problem is, Mr James, is that nobody has ever reached this stage where they can make this type of request. So far, you are the only one who has done it," said Mr Smith.
"Oh really. Huh, I thought you were going to be prideful about it and act like a total bitch when I ask you to be mine. I heard that some women like to treat men like slaves whenever they have a chance to do so and start to extort as much as possible from them until they are nothing left by dry empty husks and later on discard it and move on to their next prey. I guess you are pure maiden in heart after all, despite having such beautiful figures. You really are a rare kind of woman."
Mary couldn't stand it.
"Enough!"
Mr Smith turned serious.
Mary recompose herself and took a deep breath.
"You want to make me yours, there is a condition. You have to meet with the leader yourself and fight over me."
"Hmm, sure, when can I meet him?"
"Tomorrow night, 9pm," said Mary. "In front of the large mansion you see lying on top of the hill. Mr Smith will be there and I will be there as well to bring you to the leader."
"Okay, I guess that's a deal."
James extended out his hand.
Mary turned around and refused to shake his hand. She left.
"Well, see you tomorrow night, Mr James."
Mr Smith walked past James.
"I have high hopes on you, little boy."
