James accompanied June to a big library filled with books. He has never seen so much books being gathered in one place before. The ceiling was as tall as the sky and all of the walls have books on them and there were many floors.

"All of the treasures, obtained from the world all over the place," said June. "Over here." He gestured him to follow him.

They arrived on a messy table with stacks of books on it. In the middle of it lay many types of books but there was one he was familiar with.

"That is the Scripture," said James, feeling proud that he at least recognizes one of the books.

"Yes, you are right"

June retreated back to his chair and opened the book.

"Let me be frank with you, James Charter," his tone became serious. "I know a bit of information about you. You are the reason for the death of the current demon lords."

"How do you know?"

He pushed up his spectacles.

"Do you perhaps recognize the color of my eyes?"

"I don't."

"My eyes are able to see and read the records of time. I can know a person's past by making eye contact with them. Which can be a bit troublesome for my mind as if it is left uncontrolled, it can drive a person's insane. Just imagine how many people we made eye contact every day. And imagine having all of the people's past you looked at being flashed in front of your face. Which is why you normally find people with my eyes going insane."

"So you know about my past?'

"Being abandoned by your parents to the church at a place called Runesdale and was raised up by Father Richard, a caring and doting father, and growing up alongside with Sister Mary. You are a capable caretaker, and the kids seems to like you. Later on, you find out your beloved Father is possessed by a demon and you are forced to kill him. Later on, you are picked up by the Holy Church and is trained by the 4 of the Masters of the Church and was able to utilize the four aspects of your souls. After a strange occurrence in a mission, you are being sent into a mission to slay all the demon lords and now we are here meeting at each other."

He closed his eyes. "You are like an open book, James. I can see through you."

"Okay, good to know. So what are you going to ask me to help you with?"

"You are a wanted man, James. For some reason, the King wants your head and I have been feeling puzzled at his request. The only conclusion I reached is that the King's grasp on power has something to do with demons which is why he sees you as a threat to his sovereignty. But I can't really pinpoint the exact reason behind it. Furthermore, it has always been my ambition to find out the Truth, the real Truth about this world and how its existence came into being. Is there a God in this world? I am doubting everything that has been written to explain the truth about this world and the first thing I am analyzing is the Scripture."

"Okay…you sure talk a lot."

"You see, I have summoned a lot of demons using the corpses of the fallen warriors and victims of war as sacrificial price and studied their rise to demon hood. I have recorded down every aspect of their lives and I came to the conclusion that each demon was used to normal human beings just like us but their soul was corrupted and thus their physical form morphed and distort itself into the abomination they are."

"And…?"

"Well, originally I was trying to summon another demon but for some reason, you pop up at the place I prepared."

"….."

"So, James, why are you being summoned when it was originally supposed to be a demon that should appear from the summoning place?"

"I have no idea what you mean?"

"As expected. Which is what makes you an interesting subject to investigate. Strangely, I don't sense any malicious aura from you as I did from my previous summons but you don't look too bright to be categorized as a normal human. Adding on to the mystery of your existence and also the reason for the king to put a bounty on your head, I have a feeling that you might be the key for me to understand the mystery of the world. If not, then at least I have an extra collection to one of the mysteries of the world has to offer. A man who defied all logic and law of this world, that is you."

"So how do I help you with this?"

"You don't seem fazed at all by my long ranting. Another strange thing about you."

"To be honest, I am interested as well on what the things that have been happening to me. And there is a lot of question I wanted to ask as well?"

"What questions do you have in mind?"

"Like what is the source of my power? How did I become so strong? And…the vision I have been seeing."

June suddenly leans forward as his interest is piqued.

"Explain to me the vision you saw."

"Pardon the intrusion, four-eyes," a man stood behind them. James turned behind to see a tall man with tall stature and glowing green eyes.

"Prince Si, you are alive! And your eyes, don't tell me that someone is willing to transfer their soul to you."

The prince nods his head.

"It might be the girl that the King asked for from the church."

"A girl?" James suddenly has an idea of who they are talking about.

James was looking deep into the Prince's eyes and saw the familiarity of his with Rea's.

He felt something but strangely he felt calm. He couldn't really react to the sudden news.

"And who is this poor guinea pig you have here?"

Prince Si and James were of equal height so their gaze was equal.

"He is looking at me so deeply; he is giving me the creeps. Is he a new specimen of humankind you manage to pick up?" asked the Prince.

"How strange of you to not chop off the guy's head now for making eye contact with you. You would normally have done so by now. Has the Soul transferring perhaps changed your egoistic personality as well?"

"I believe you are the only person who can speak to me like that and still be alive. I am not interested in killing people anymore, June."

"That came a bit too late because there really isn't anyone for you to kill right now. The war is over. Everything is under the King's grasp now. Congratulations. So what does someone like you wants in a place like this if you are not interested in killing anymore?"

"Plants, I want to learn more about plants."

"What a strange hobby you have picked up."

"Just give me the information and be done with it."

"I will like to ask you more questions if I have time later but now I have a guest to attend. Take this book and leave us be for the time being." June took out a green book and pass it to Prince Si.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome"

The prince took his leave.

"How strange, he normally wasn't that polite. I guess his sudden change is worth investigating. Now moving back to you. Hey, are you okay, you look zoned out."

James snapped back to reality when June touched him.

"Tell me, what is this soul transfer you mention?"

"That will take a while. Are you ready to hear a long explanation?"

James nodded his head.

And June started explaining.
