Did you know peanut butter can be made into a diamond? Anything technically can become a diamond. All it takes is pressure, heat, and time. I often forget the 'time' aspect. I get impatient, because I see that diamond; shiny,, pretty, durable, and it immediately grabs my attention.
I'm attracted to what's beautiful, it catches my eyes, and shines weather I'm looking or not.
I want it because it's beautiful. God gave us the opportunity to be here on Earth because we wanted to shine and become like diamonds.
In our life, we are surrounded by overwhelming factors that if we don't make time to take care of ourselves, life will be miserable.
When the body is put under too much strain, it gets injured. A sprain, a fracture, a vital part broken or torn. We need time to rest, to be able to bounce back and be able to handle those challenges. When you disregard your needs, you break. Leaving you unable to move forward, because you didn't move forward from those little fractures that spiraled, that could have been prevented if you took care of your needs. Not just taking care of physical needs, but mental too. You are not a body. You are a soul, experiencing what's like to have a body. The body needs shelter, touch, water, food, and air. While the soul and mind require love, acceptance, being wanted and cherished. It is essential to have a balance. One cannot go on with ignoring or unfulfilled in their lives. This is more than an idol fancy or a wish. Your needs extend beyond the necessary items to survive, what we all need is to live.
We have to invest in ourselves. Because whether you believe it or not, you are an investment. The food that you consume that fuels your mind, or exercise those limbs or mind to stop getting so tongue tied. You are an investment. You have the potential to have that inner shine, whether people are looking or not.
Making diamonds isn't easy. It takes overwhelming heat, crushing pressure, and time. Not everyone is willing to put in the work to get there. True, we have the potential to shine, but it's our choice if we pursue that path.
You alone are not strong enough to withstand that, we grow, we learn, we create roots that help us withstand the pressure, and become something beautiful
