I remember in middle school we had to mark which was more appealing to hear. Rant, talk, chat. I put down chat because it was like a nice chat with your friends, rather than the often heard, "the talk,"

It really depends on what you say and how you say it. You can't say 'rant' and have a pleasing image come to mind, but tone can change 'A talk,' into a drawn out sentence. Notice it yet? Exactly, I'm ranting. ;P
