First job and first day already called a smart A, jokingly. The lady is very friendly. She bought me and the girls scratch tickets today, which is my fourth day. Four days and I see why it's called a part-time job. It's because it wants you to get out of there fast. It's not meant to be heaven and galore, although I do like the staff, and the job itself is good, there are factors I can't be ignored. Like the smoke on the customers that clings to them even though your a good distance away. I could feel my lungs hurt and the buzz of a headache throughout the day. I don't smoke, probably not the best thing to do when you have a hard time breathing. I have a deviated septum, which means I get less oxygen. I was basically born with a broken nose and it stayed that way. The surgery is pretty expensive. It's not the reason why I got a job. I got it for experience, exposure, and friends. I wanted to branch myself out and give myself a firm foundation in the location I recently moved to. I started applying for jobs the week I moved here, and got one on my third. Gutsy he said. It was. I walked into the store, all dressed up, and asked where I would apply. Part time jobs aren't something that you want to stay in. My older sister graduated from college and has three part-time jobs. Where I am, I'm getting paid more than she is. They're not meant for you to be comfortable, there for you to get on your feet, and move on from your experiences. ;)
